A 'MODERATE RISK' upgrade for severe weather is in place on Saturday across parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Western Missouri. A MAJOR tornado outbreak is expected to unfold, beginning on Saturday and continuing into Sunday across parts of the Eastern United States. Violent tornadoes, giant hail, and extremely damaging wind gusts will be likely. Now is the time to PREPARE for severe weather!!
I’m happy you are all right, Hunter. Sheesh, it never gives the Midwest and heartland a break.♥️
@@MicheleB4506 Thank you!
Hope it’s a bust, this looks bad! Thanks for the update!😊
I’m in NW IA and I’ve never seen this many intense storms back to back like we have this year. It’s a crazy spring!!!
It’s definitely one of the most active Spring seasons I can remember.
Thank you so much for the forecast Hunter 🤓
Thank you so much! That's very generous of you!!
Awesome Nina

Thank you for the support!
"the Gulf of Mexico is gonna be open for business" words that perk the ears of the weather aware in the plains and midwest....good detailed and nuanced forecast as usual...thank you
Thank you so much!
Great when I thought Sunday’s weather can’t get worse this happens 😢 I hope this will not repeat from April 2 again
Thanks for keeping us safe. My hearr goes out to our Texan brothers and sisters, especially those without power
Thanks for the update!

At 10:12 that line of convention on West Virginia sure does take the same shape that the 2012 derecho did!

Hey Hunter 👋 ❤ I had zero clue that we were going to get any bad weather at all for a entire week. (Kansas). 😬
Significant severe weather is possible in Kansas on Saturday. A strong tornado or two, giant hailstones possibly up to 5” diameter and significant damaging winds of 80 mph or greater possible. Storm coverage is expected to remain mostly isolated. So not everyone in Kansas will get a storm. Just make sure you remain weather-aware as significant severe weather is possible tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night.
@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts Thank goodness for you!! I would have been caught way off guard! Thanks for all you do! Try to enjoy your Memorial holiday weekend! 🩷 🌼
There was a Tornado on the ground in Fargo ND.
This weather is bizzzaro
Thank you SO much for all that you do. We appreciate you. I’m praying for everyone that has been affected thus far and for those that will be affected next.
No problem!
Too close for comfort here in NWA. I was hoping the tornado threats were over.
Fargo, ND had a tornado warning briefly this afternoon!!
Oklahoma here hello hunter good day
Saturday is a day to be weather-aware across Oklahoma. A Moderate Risk upgrade is in place across most of Oklahoma, except for the Panhandle. Strong to violent, long-track tornadoes (possibly EF-3 or stronger intensity), giant hailstones (possibly up to 5" in diameter), and extremely damaging wind gusts (80 mph or greater) will be likely tomorrow afternoon, evening, and overnight.
Yeah so I guess there is no need to ask you how Bloomington Illinois is looking on Sunday lol 😂 I'm kinda worried
Enhanced Risk for significant severe weather possible on Sunday.
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts y
Yeah I saw that which has me worried especially if it bumps up another category
Lumayan kencang anginnya, sudah memberi tanda kemarin, angin minta izin dulu sebelum ketempat subjek nya
Will you do a Q&A live stream? You may have said if you will and I missed it.
Possibly early tomorrow morning, especially if there’s a High Risk upgrade.
You're better than Mitch West, he don't like Southern Belles ...
That's rude
Always watch from Thomaston Georgia
Thanks for watching!
I thought that storms had to fire in this environment unfortunately.
Perfect perpendicularity to the initiating boundary, extreme instability with adequate forcing and extreme SRH (likely overdone, but still) I just hope there's some sort of fail mode we don't see
It's not overdone. Extreme instability of 4,000 J/kg or greater has been showing up on the weather models for days now. Extreme SRH has been showing up the past 48 hours. The atmospheric conditions are there, especially if the cap breaks tomorrow evening.
Do you think that this could be pushed North into Nebraska or will it stay to the south of that area
Southeast Nebraska may get some severe weather, but the most significant severe weather will be in Kansas and Oklahoma, and perhaps Western Missouri.
Thanks for another great forecast. Do you think NW Indiana will see anything significant Sunday? I will be weather aware for sure this weekend.
The storm on Sunday is trending further north. Severe weather does appear possible for Northwest Indiana. Damaging winds, large hail and possibly a tornado or two. I’ll keep you updated.
Hunter is great
Thank you so much!
Thank you!!!
You’re welcome!
Do you expect Indianapolis to go moderate?
Maybe
Hi Hunter am I gonna get some strong tornadoes tomorrow for Kearney Missouri if so will the 10% significant tornado risk be expanded to Kearney Missouri tomorrow if the SPC issues a high risk also is it possible that Kearney Missouri will be in the moderate risk too?
Moderate risk will not be expanded that far north. Strong tornadoes are not expected for Northern Missouri on Saturday.
Is minonk Illinois in the cross hairs??
Yes, currently in an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 out of 5) for severe weather on Sunday. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes possible. Even a strong tornado cannot be ruled out. I’ll keep you updated.
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts thank you so much!
What is our risk in far NW Arkansas? We're usually right on the edge...
Marginal to Slight risk for severe weather on Saturday. Slight risk for severe weather on Sunday.
