  • 24 HOURS in TEL AVIV DURING SHABBAT | OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE | Travel Vlog #45
Tel Aviv - Have you ever heard of Shabbat? We did, but we never knew how much of the daily life it affects. Imagine this: the shops are closed, restaurants are closed, there is no public transport and if you are Jewish than you should obey some other rules. We experienced that it's like to catch the last train home and spend the day just like every person in Tel Aviv: at the Beach! But see for yourself
    Have fun watching 😊

To have a full Shabbat experience, you should just tell them you’re visiting and want to have Shabbat dinner. They would invite you to their homes. That’s what I did. They’re very kind and that’s his you did it.

Tel aviv looks like any other city on earth . Full of people just trying to live their lives in peace. I hope some kind of peace agreement can be done so both Palestinians and jews can live in peace and enjoy such a lovely part of the world. Great video guys

Actually it has first been called “Palestine” by the Romans when they conquered and occupied Judaea. They gave Judea this name as it is a Roman form of “Philistines”, who had been enemies of the Jews a long time before that and the Roman occupiers chose this name to insult the rebellious Jewish Nation. Before the Roman occupation, the name Palestine did not exist. There had, however, been a Jewish nation before that.

Why you bitching so much about tel Aviv? You should have engaged with the locals
If you really wanted to have a Shabbat experience you should have asked anyone , any israeli would have invited you to share their experience
Very hospitable people indeed, same like the Arabs.
