The Security Deck is one of the easiest levels to navigate, and its unique vertical design makes it one of my favorite decks on Citadel Station. Our main objectives in this part are: 1. Return to the Reactor Deck, enter the Reactor Core area (5:55) in the center section of the Deck, flip the switch to deactivate the Core forcefield (07:38), and enter the randomized six-digit code, which consists of numbers you've seen after destroying the CPU nodes on Decks 1 to 6 (08:07). The first number is from the Medical Deck, then Research, Maintenance, Storage, Flight, and Executive in that order. After entering the code, pull the lever behind you. 2. Return to the Flight Deck and head to Flight Bays 2 and 3. Defeat Diego, use the code 001 to enter one of two Life Pods, and pull the lever to escape Citadel Station and end the game... Or not (17:34). 3. Return to Engineering, head southwest, and use the elevator to reach the Security Deck (24:25). 4. In the central section of Security, take the north jump pad to Extraction (30:37), and head into a room northwest to pick up the Group-B access card (32:28). 5. Still in the northwest portion of the map, flip the switch in one of the offices (31:27) and use the nearby jump pad, then another jump pad further south. Pick up the Security access card in the west office (39:06). 6. Destroy the CPU Nodes (41:08). 7. Take the jump pad to the Repair Bay (51:34), press the button (53:11), use the jump pad in the same room, and keep going north. Press the button to activate the bridge (1:06:14). 8. Use the activated bridge to enter the central tower (1:09:20). 9. Kill Diego and loot his body to acquire the Personal-5 access card (1:10:37). 10. Take the elevator to the Bridge Deck. 48:30 The Plasma Rifle is the final addition to our arsenal. Its design reminds me of Doom 3's Plasma Gun. The default firing mode shoots plasma projectiles at the cost of energy. It has very high damage per second but depletes your energy bar rather quickly. The alternative firing mode requires a Plasma Core to be loaded into the weapon. It fires a large plasma orb, which one-shots most enemy types on a direct impact. The orb bounces around for a few seconds damaging everything in its path, including the player.
Oh, you gotta appreciate that beautiful shot of Citadel Station exploding with Saturn as the backdrop while the elevator music plays. That there, my friends, is poetry! Damn, I love this remake!
I knew the plan to destroy Citadel Station by itself wouldn't work. I knew SHODAN wouldn't let the Hacker leave when activating the self-destruct sequence. SHODAN's a sore loser, but she's still got an average amount of competence. At the very least, there was a way to escape using the Bridge. ...A shame that so many upgraded weapons had to be sacrificed in the destroyed station. Ever still, the arsenal you've got should be pretty excellent. Especially that Plasma Rifle and the Railgun. The final showdown with SHODAN draws near. At least Edward Diego's gullible self is dead and gone. If SHODAN hasn't felt pain in this entire journey...she's about to experience it. We can't send strike teams to disable the CPUs on those 6 floors, we can't even defend ourselves. Richie out.

I wonder if they fixed this in the new updates, but when I first played System Shock Remake right when it came out I got very frustrated at one part. Just when your about to leave the elevator hub to go into the center area of Security, the door slams shut and you can't re0-enter. I understand the game doesn't want you to return to the rest of Citadel station, but the cargo lift only has so much space. I had to physically TOSS all my weapons and gear I wanted from the elevator section into the main security deck so that I could access my gear for the final push. The original game didn't do that crap.
