Al was absolutely spot on! Spy Kids absolutely does have a Latin flavour baked into it and it was done on purpose! It makes the movie way better. Everything from the soundtrack to the casting to the script, I love when Carmen uses her full name as a passcode. I wanted a name like that lol. But seriously this movie made feel Latin families were the coolest.
That was amazing about how Alexa Penavega, Carlos Penavega, and their children were helping in the Salvation Army.
@Brea Jesus isn’t real. But I guess you have to believe it because your parents forced you to believe in a book that’s fictitious and been rewritten every year.
They do claim in loving Jesus and following him! Actions speak louder than words and they certainly are serving and showing their children the right way to go about life!
The Salvation Army is actual a horrible "charity" to back. In terms of disaster services they're known to self-deploy even if they aren't invited by the hosting agency and then give said agency a bill for the service of everyone working for them (including volunteers) and the supplies they gave out (even the things that were donated). It's not their fault but they should find a real charity or disaster relief program to contribute to.

I grew up watching Alexa in the Spy Kids movies! I never thought I would one day see her marrying one of the guys from Big Time Rush! I also remember watching them compete against each other on DWTS a few years ago (Carlos came in 4th while Alexa came in third)! Not to mention their two sons have very similar names (Ocean King and Kingston James)! And their daughter’s full name is Rio Rey PenaVega (the middle name apparently means King in Spanish)! Other than that, maybe I should get their children’s book for my niece and nephew one day!

Spy Kids will always be one of my fav movies of all time. my drag name is taken from the last names of the characters. I also love that one of them FINALLY talked about Meghan and her husband who played Juni. im happy to hear they still talk

Great memory I love telling people is when I was a cub scout we had a sleepover at the Tropicana Field where the Rays play. All of us were literally on the field and got to meet the players lol and they played Spy Kids for us.

Alexa doesn't do a lot of the social from what it seems because the announcement for Megan's baby was aired a few times on a few different television talk shows and this was months ago . But the fact that she is a great mom and she partners with salvation army. Wow. The collaborating on a book together is so genius I would buy that book.
