There was a relay radio exercise last year, and I volunteered to be one of the relay stations. They told me even though I was licensed, I could only participate if I was a ARRL member. Well, I guess they showed me. 😡
If only you received your radiogram note pad in a timely manner? You may be right on a lot of issues, but reaching out to other hams to find solutions may be a better way to get things done.
I reached out to other Hams for Months! I am not sure why you are focused on the message pads when the entire thing is broken. These videos are "reaching out to other hams to find a solution". Not sure if you realize that or not!
The cards are antiquated and frankly, no one and I mean no one will actually follow the protocol they setup to pass messages. They will pick up a mic and talk. I observed one of these drills once and it was painful to watch how long it took to send a message. Just plain silly. The ARRL needs a new Emergency Manager lead.
Meshtastic for old people.
😊
They are legends in their own minds.
well they also have a spark gap transmitter at the ARRL,They should revive spark gap too.

Ridiculous, but typical!

I hope that things get better. You can talk to some one for hours and get know were.
