A great man at his age until his passing...RIP Mr. John Lewis.
Sadly he didn’t walk in Martin Luther king Jounior foot steps
he has a video he crowd surfs its adorable his dancing kind of attitude mentality
@@christopherhayles4214 He had a different approach which garnered him the nickname Mr. Goodtrouble. He wasn't against causing good trouble against unconstitutional laws. Nobody is perfect but this man was a great man no less
We will never stop... RIP Mr. John Lewis
A very special man who led and incredible life. His passing is great loss but his words and deeds will never be forgotten.
Thank you for posting this.
This was filmed 57 years ago, though it could have been filmed today!
Wake up America, wake up! - John Lewis (Rest In Power)
I pray young black men and women will rise and follow your steps. Rest in Peace
We shall overcome, we shall overcome, we shall overcome one day. Oh deep in my heart, I do believe, that we shall overcome one day. RIP man of God. Now can you please play some of Dr Kings speeches too? The world needs to hear this.
They’re all over youtube. I started watching them after seeing protests.
So sad to lose this great man😭😭😭
Sad that he lived decades past this amazing speech, and era, and yet still not see the change he'd wanted.
At least he knew that the people were *finally* waking up, before he left us
Wake Up!
Let's make the change happen now, let's do it in John's honour.
If you read what he had to say about it, he saw some changes that made him proud. Not nearly enough, but very significant according to him. These actions were not in vain.
Wake up America!
RIP King..thank you for your lifelong service.

Rest In Power John
America needs to get its act together, the eyes of the world are watching..👀
The youngest Speaker at the 1963 March on Washington and he gave one of the most searing, soaring & eloquently powerful speeches of the day. Sometimes I wonder if he must have felt a little deflated by the end of the day since, after giving such a memorable oration, ALL anyone will remember & be talking about was "Martin and his dream"! :-)
There will be other African American politicians and good ones too, but Congressman John Lewis is simply irreplaceable! A void in the universe exists where he once stood. Rest In Peace John R. Lewis of Georgia/Alabama!!
RIP John Lewis. A true American Hero.🙏🇺🇸✝️
RIP John Lewis I went to see you today and pay my respects! Thank you Sir for all you have done✊🏽 Let’s get in good trouble ❤️❤️❤️
Hero ❤ 🌟
RIP Champion 🙏🏽🖤🙏🏽
Happy Birthday Sir.
Rest in peace✊🇺🇸
What a Legend! Thank you and rest in peace sir!
My, man. 🤜🏿
RIP John Lewis.
A life to be celebrated and a man to be remembered. Rename the Pettis bridge.
No
Man, what a 23-year-old Civil rights leader!
Didn't know Virginia was known as a "police state" even back then. Thought it was just a terminology developed in the trenches
Such a tragic loss....Johns words that day could quite easily relate to today and the horrific persecution of black that continues....nothing has changed. FGS stand together and fight for all black citizens to be treated as Americans, not as black 😢
Get the video in color, it’s possible! It wasn’t that long ago!
✌
A hero. A great man
My grandmas cousin, manning sc

Believe and seek God daily. 💝
1 John 2:15-17
Proverbs 3:5-6
Proverbs 9:10
At least he saw a black man in the white house. ✊🏾✊🏽
Would I be allowed to show this during a Facebook Live?
Hi! I'm wondering if you know who owns the copyright to this video? I am a musician and want to sample it.
Imagine when a human being seeking equal right from 1963 up to now, wake up America
for me being a black person i stand out i can say i dont know if standing out from others is right or wrong but im standing out because of me being me if standing out is wrong i wont care if i do or dont stand out cause the only things that stands out is my feelings mind heart and speak of mind my brothers and sisters we might stand out but that what make us different from white and all other races they stand out different reasons those reasons make them special i feel special cause of all the men and woman before me cause there fighting=me
No doubt about it, Lewis is definitely talking like someone accustomed to Billy Graham's Hour of Decision.
I'm not familiar with this man could someone list his achievements for the black community he's been around for years so I know thiers countless things he's accomplished just list five major achievements
Let me know what you find out once you google it

Rabi,!=$ama,!=Gila,!=Chelcea,!=4829,!=
I wonder why he NEVER said FREEDOM again once he got a Job??
I wonder if the fella in the video would ever imagine how much of an establishment player he would become? Our warriors are always either co-opted or simply removed.
You all have been fooled and need to WAKE UP. Your enemy started half the movements.
Candace Owens should watch this !
Yes she should. She should learn about the life of John Lewis.
