- Olny 1 hour and a half from Nice and you are in Alassio, beautiful Italian town full of charm! This is a perfect day trip from Nice to experience Italian culture and taste the most delicious pizza or pasta or gelato or cappuccino :):):)

It's ashtonishing to me that beaches are privately owned and that you have to pay. What does it cost? None of our beaches are allowed to be owned privately. Our beaches are always free. Your videos are enlightening.

Hello from Canada! I spent 8 nights in Alassio six years ago, staying in a waterfront hotel/holiday home run by a nun and her devoted employees. They fed their guests three delicious meals daily, nothing touristy. I visited in late May and found the town very quiet, the visitors being Italian seniors from the north wanting a well-priced beach getaway. Most people have never heard of this place. It isn't flashy or full of nightlife, just a quiet Italian town that I suspect is overlooked as one motors on to the more well known spots. I arrived on a train from Nice and was returning there before flying back to Canada. I rarely comment but I really enjoy your channel and when I saw Alassio...! 🧡 Best, Sherri

For reference the homes along Newport Beach, California are $10 million to $40 million USD and we live 1 hour north where a nice home is $1.5 million. I drive wife and newborn almost every weekend to enjoy the ocean. Newport Beach has excellent beaches and it is not crowded at all, however the scenery and culture is much more beautiful in Alassio. Thanks so much for your channel! We love it!

@frenchvibes7604 Nice!...California was cold...wetsuit necessary when I was learning. Jersey shore was good for my son to start at 7. He now lives in Honolulu and you can imagine how proud I am that he can go into North Shore when it's not crazy big. 🤙🏾🌊 I am not surprised that he loves it. I watched your surfing videos..so cool 😎
