How does his Blade change or does it revert whenever she’s not using shinken hakkyoken? Wouldn’t shock me if they kept it so they share the blade which makes them almost symbolically married but not love-married so that no one dies of the curse… which is interesting… Stopping speculations thar before I predict weirder stuff that wasn’t done… hehe

Glorious!!! I only knew about the shared damage until this video. I thought of it as the olive branch because nobody could really attack without also hurting themselves. Interesting to see it's more complex than that.
I think it's safe to assume that his bankai can "cast" many different theatrical plays just like his shikai casts many different children's games. I read somewhere that this particular bankai theatrical play is indeed a poem or something in real life
Its crazy to think Shunsui literally never trained throughout the entirety of the seirs and yet he held one of the most broken Bankais ever. This means this guy held power beyond a top-tier Sternritter ever since his introduction and could have pretty much soloed the Espada if the rest of the Gotei wasnt around
I still believe that this is just ONE of his theatre plays accessible by Bankai. Just like how his shikai turns a lot of children's games into killing moves, not just one game. Similarly his bankai must have more theatre plays, he just specifically used this one against Lille Barro as this one might have been the best suited according to him.
Theory: What we saw was just a 'technique' of his bankai, like Takaoni, Kageoni, and Irooni are to his shikai. Shikai: Make children's games reality, forcing everyone in its spirtual pressure to play the game well, making decisions and strategies. Bankai: Makes dramatic plays reality, forcing everyone in its spirtual pressure to enact their assigned role as the script progresses. You don't get to make decisions, as your fate is pre-written in the script. Perhaps different techniques for differing numbers of combatants, and he chose the double-suicide script due to having 2 roles for his 1-on-1.
Man the shinigami spirit for Katen Kyoukotsu was so good in the filler they made it canon in the manga. Remember that shit came out in a filler episode before it was in manga.

i wish this actually resulted in the death of the sternritter so we as the audience can get a clear sense that it is as deadly as can be. but given just how ridiculously destructive this bankai is, it also makes sense that he would not have considered any of his former opponents in the story worth of using it on... bit of a catch 22, but this is gonna be so so epic in the anime.

Guess I just didn't think about it that way.
Thanks for the interpretation, filling in that particular hole in my theory.
This is awesome explanation, I read the description and was still perplex. Have my up vote.
Thx for making these homie !
i love the background sounds
I love the way the pronunciation has evolved with the VA’s pronunciation…
I do always enjoy the effort of trying to get the phrasing & pronunciation right & learning the meanings & often multilingual & character system related wordplays, etc. some of which are obvious in native speech & others completely lost in other languages’ own assumption associations, etc.
I do wonder about whether the name changes much when he gives Nanao back the blade for awakening the shīnkèn hākkyökèn… does he lose the shadowy powers, reflective aspects?
How does his Blade change or does it revert whenever she’s not using shinken hakkyoken?
Wouldn’t shock me if they kept it so they share the blade which makes them almost symbolically married but not love-married so that no one dies of the curse… which is interesting…
Stopping speculations thar before I predict weirder stuff that wasn’t done… hehe
This is a great step for the growth of your channel
The song makes this Bankai much scarier plus i think for this Bankai, Anime horror animators should animate this Bankai. Like make it seem like a Horror Dream that makes watchers of the anime feel trapped in the Bankai as well
your shorts are awesome ☺️👍
dude i just cant seem to get enough of your content
Shunsui's Bankai is literally "My ex is fkn crazy" in a bottle😂😂😂
This is just one of the stories he can play, he can do different stories based on the opponent.
Love these shorts. thanks
Damn it make sense why we haven’t seen everyone Bankai, 1: hasn’t been a threat that was on timing, 2: some Bankai causes friendly fire
I feel like if we ever see the bankai again it won't do this, as I think the story changes each activation
A very needed explanation! Thx so much👍
Unfortunately he still loses in the 'most suicidal Bankai' competition because Hisagi decided that he's going to fucking hang himself for his Bankai😭
Your voice is very soothing. It helps me sleep. And i dont mean that in a rude way at all! Great videos
My favourite Bankai
It’s like a Final Fantasy limit break, “The End”… auto win and it affects all kinds of monsters including bosses, it’s random activation though and you don’t get exp and drops when you win
Not seen your videos for a while but I gotta say you're looking good!
Kyoraku bankai rocks.
I love his shikai. Every time he plays different children game.
In this battle they showed them
While His Shikai represents the Comedy of Games his Bankai represents the tragedy that is theater.
His shikai is the childish side while his bankai is the adult, both are represented by one of the swords and spirits of these swords
It's always the people with the brightest smiles who hold the darkest secrets
Him: this is the deadliest bankai in tybw
Ichibei:?
Ichigo, senjumaru
Kenpachi is more deadlier
Finally the answer to my question about shunsui's bamkai power...thank you dude
Thank you ❤ what a poetic and dark bankai 😊
Who is here after it gotten animated finally??
Glorious!!! I only knew about the shared damage until this video. I thought of it as the olive branch because nobody could really attack without also hurting themselves. Interesting to see it's more complex than that.
I think it's safe to assume that his bankai can "cast" many different theatrical plays just like his shikai casts many different children's games. I read somewhere that this particular bankai theatrical play is indeed a poem or something in real life
Can’t wait for this bankai animated I know the whole atmosphere is going to change
I like how they kept Katen's design the same as her design in the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc.
Can't wait for it to be animated next cour.....
Its close 🔥🔥🔥
“Funny words magic man”
-a wise man
mr. tommo making shorts now i see you bro !
Song in the background? @ me plz
I'm glad to see Mr. Tommo shorts now. Feels right
Deadliest bankai that doesn’t defeat even one opponent. Excellent writing kubo
This man can probably have another story for his Bankai too
I’m telling you, he has many stories to tell in bankai. Just like he has multiple children’s games
It's basically Dazai Osamu tendency to do double suicide
My man kills with story time...
Man the shinigami spirit for Katen Kyoukotsu was so good in the filler they made it canon in the manga.
Remember that shit came out in a filler episode before it was in manga.
One of my favorite arcs
Shikai: Childhood memories
Bankai: Dad lore
His bankai 1 hit killed an intangible god. Hell yeah brother
Him and the 7th Kenpachi has the most terrifying bankais in Soul Society. Shutara and Ichebei has that just hand your soul over already type of bankai.
So it’s basically his bankai makes you the main character of *No more Human* cool
i wish this actually resulted in the death of the sternritter so we as the audience can get a clear sense that it is as deadly as can be. but given just how ridiculously destructive this bankai is, it also makes sense that he would not have considered any of his former opponents in the story worth of using it on... bit of a catch 22, but this is gonna be so so epic in the anime.
I mean it did kill him (decapitate) it was just that Lille was revealed to be immortal after. but yea I wish this ended the fight
If remember correctly his Zanpakuto Manifestation was first seen in a filler arc right and there were 2 of them glad the design were made canon.
Everything about it is just so damn beautiful. Life goals lol
His Bankai is Depression.
Definitely the right pick for the seat of Head Captain.
I wonder if this is where the idea for domain expansions came from
I love that his shikai likes to play
And his bankai is a play
Not only is this dude the goat, but his Zanpakuto is hot AF
Like, how much better can a man be
Bro brought his hobby as a bankai 😂😂
And anyone nearby gets caught up in this. That's why he was so hesitant to use it in the battle against Stark. Too many other of his allies nearby.
I think it's kinda funny that after the TYBW, Shunsui likely could have had his eye healed by Orihime but Kubo really just thought he'd look cooler with an eye patch.
So cool 😢😢 imagine if we got to see ukitake's bankai😢😢
I can't wait to see this animated
