All the pressure of being her happy ending to her past mistakes she placed it right into that man’s lap. She had great expectations prob prematurely. I really just don’t want to follow in the footsteps of my father. I had a blessed childhood. I was his outside child that his wife never knew about. He always had girlfriends and mistresses because he had money. I made a promise long ago not to be like that. Absolutely!! Once my son turned 18, he moved out, got married last month. Even when he moved out, I did not call him constantly. Actually most of the times he called me when he could. We would text about 3 times a month. I knew to step move aside because he is a man and it is natural for men to break away from home and their moms. He got married last month, I waited for him to contact me after their honeymoon. Me and my youngest going over to their place for first time. I'm good with the whole. Hrs married and his wife is before anything and anyone now. I do not want to be a needy mom or person. I really just don’t want to follow in the footsteps of my father. I had a blessed childhood. I was his outside child that his wife never knew about. He always had girlfriends and mistresses because he had money. I made a promise long ago not to be like that. I just don’t want the stress of lying and trying to keep my stories together, been there done that back in the day. Even though my father was there for me financially I still didn’t have him 100% of the time. I admit, I do check out other women but I’m just afraid of the drama.

We would crush on eachother for yearsssss. He was so nice, patient, flattering and sweet. I've dated other people from middle school all the way to adult hood. He stood in the background as a friend/crush.I had a child with another man also. We started this crush at 5 years old (I remember, true story) fast forward 25 years later I FINALLY entertained the idea of dating him. He proposed and we got married. That's my ex too. Total mamas boy, called me 5x a day asking what should he eat or help him fall asleep, had a ton of female friends, among other things. Life was one big party to him. Funnily enough, we broke up because he wanted a baby in the next couple of years but I didn't - I already had my own 18 year old and the factory was closed if you know what I mean. It's been 5 years now since we broke up and he's dating another single mom, no marriage and no kids of his own. I think he was just wasting my time and now he's wasting hers.

Tony is not lying! I ended up dating my bestfriend. We were friends from 14-19 years old and ended up making it official when I was 19. He was waiting on his time to sleep with me (I didn’t know this because I was 19 and very naive, I trusted him also since we were friends first) but we ended up getting pregnant and decided to take the relationship more serious! I thought I was doing the right thing as well because I was always told that best relationships are ppl who are friends first but not knowing that it has to be a love interest first like tony says and we never looked at each other like that at first. Also I never thought I would be the type of woman to be played because I have always been zero tolerance with men who don’t do right but baby I was the exact opposite with this guy because of the friendship. Men will take advantage of our loving and nurturing natural instinct mane Tony be on point with EVERYTHING HE SAY! Boy ol boy was that the worst decision ever in my life. I stayed with him for 12 years and when I say nothing but pain and turmoil😩I stayed so long y’all because of dumb reasons I’m not ashamed to admit it. Absolutely!! Once my son turned 18, he moved out, got married last month. Even when he moved out, I did not call him constantly. Actually most of the times he called me when he could. We would text about 3 times a month. I knew to step move aside because he is a man and it is natural for men to break away from home and their moms. He got married last month, I waited for him to contact me after their honeymoon. Me and my youngest going over to their place for first time. I'm good with the whole. Hrs married and his wife is before anything and anyone now. I do not want to be a needy mom or person. If I am unhealthy I would not be able to have a healthy relationship with them and future grandbabies ❤️❤️. Thank you Tony!

Tony, I went through this, exactly this. I had to see the light and realize what was happening. I let him make my self crazy, suicidal, broke, all to give him everything. I finally saw through the fog and God helped me see what I needed to do and now I am so happy and thankful to be free and have you in my life because you were, and still are, a huge blessing in my life and I thank you!!
To add to what everyone else is saying, sometimes people have fantasies of what it would be like to be with someone. When it actually happens, the reality doesn’t compare to years of fantasizing. It’s easier to be a friend in waiting while another man has full responsibility. They are not single and waiting. They are dating to pass the time. No sacrifice was made to be with you. The very moment a woman drops her relationship for this long term “friend”, he backs away. I believe in starting new because these “friends in waiting” know all of your business and failures and use it to their advantage.
