Most underrated TV show. I hope they do a reboot. The theme music of this and He Man has to be most iconic ever. Never gets old. Just gives goosebumps.
Just goose bumps.. 80s kids were blessed with such amazing stuff on TV. I was around 8 yrs old ,first time when I watched this show in India. Often I used to postpone my Sunday sports due to this serial.
Cmon. 80s best shows ever, can't be touched. Best child hood TV shows and movies, no joke. I'm 44 now and gonna show this to my boys tomorrow, what a time to be alive!
in quel.periodo degli anni 80 questo telefilm è stato una sorpresa per chi come me era bambino come tutti gli altri telefilm che mettevano in televisione
I loved growing up in the 80s. Street Hawk, Knight rider, Airwolf, Dukes of Hazard, The A-Team, The 6 million dollar man, Macgyver. Not to mention all of the amazing movies (Jason and the Arganauts and Sinbad at Christmas) and music....what a decade to be a kid.
Who is from India ? We watched this growing up in the 80s as one of the very few western shows aired at the national Doordarshan channel What a time it was !!
I saw it on Doordarshan in India in the 1980s and I say I was damn lucky to witness something amazing like Street Hawk. The music beats will remain with me forever. ❤❤
Loved this in the 80s. It was one of the few shows I watched on Indian Television and was instantly a fan of this series. The title song makes me emotional and happy at the same time.
Damn good job!!! Im 43 years old. Which means Im a 80's kid. I remember this TV show when it first came out. I was an instant and lifelong fan. This was the coolest Synth oriented theme song ever made. Edgar Frose was the best composer R.I.P. love his Tangerine Dream music. This show along with Rex Smith's portrayal of Jesse Mach always inspired me as a kid, living in a tough neighborhood in Brooklyn to always be a good guy and walk a good path. Your reworking of this theme song inspired me once more. Keep it up. Fantastic!!!
I appreciate your kind words and thanks for sharing your story about how you were inspired by this, I reworked the theme & title because i am a fan of the show too, have a very happy Christmas Frank!

My first ever dream bike crazy over this series when i was kid Rex smith and this cafe racer made me go nuts to buy every single toy which resemble this.. Still feeling the vibe for the Soundtrack.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Grew up in the 80s in England. So many fantastic American shows: Street Hawk, A Team, Battlestar Galactica, Airwolf, Automan, Manimal, Blue Thunder etc. Now everything complete crap.
Friday nights in prime time were the best in the eighties! Street Hawk Airwolf A-Team Knight Rider Dallas Falcon Crest These are a few examples, at a time when Friday nights were just as engaging and entertaining as the rest of the weeknights, if not more!!
Rex smith I like your show on screen off. I watch it every time Thursday night on AB wish. I had it on DVD I would buy a copy of it. Wherever you are, you're a probably retired. Take care of yourself you're a biggest fan james perry
What gave me chills was that introduction by Ernie Anderson This is Jesse Mach, an ex-motorcycle cop, injured in the line of duty. Now a police troubleshooter, he's been recruited for a top secret government mission to ride Street Hawk -- an all-terrain attack motorcycle designed to fight urban crime, capable of incredible speeds up to three hundred miles an hour, and immense firepower. Only one man, federal agent Norman Tuttle, knows Jesse Mach's true identity. The man...the machine...Street Hawk.
Yep 47 now and loved this and the 80s I wonder can they even say I was lucky to grow up in the 00s or10s don't see it myself glad to of not had social media or phones just c64 and spectrum I loved my spectrum.
Loved this show as a kid it was a huge part of what made me become a motorcyclist. Now at age 47 I still have a need for speed and my current ride is a blacked out highly modified BMW S1000RR and I can regularly be seen ripping wheelies and tearing up the highways of az at 190+ still living my streethawk fantasy. What a great childhood full of inspirational TV and roll models of lone wolf bad boys doing the right thing. This generation and the world could use a lot of what we had in the 80s today. Great job on the soundtrack it brought me right back to my childhood. 👍💪😉😎💪👍
Most underrated show of my youth. A big reason I love and ride bikes today. 80’s TV and film was just a giant cauldron of creativity, anything was possible and it was always fun from VHS box art to synth soundtracks. There’s a reason us kids who grew up with it 1st hand never stray too far.
I was a school kid back then and did many drawings of that bike and sold them as stickers in my class. I was a very big fan of this show even today I am a big fan. I listen to this kind of music only. It is a stress buster and instant charger. Thanks uploader ❤😊

We need to get Chuck Wagner(Automan) Rex Smith(Street Hawk) Jan Michael Vincent(Airwolf) David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider) & Sam Jones (Highwayman) together for an assembled talk with fans. The 80's were the shit.
Back in the day when the theme tunes were as memorable as the shows. Lots of shows themes were amazing. Streethawk was a brief but brilliant tune. Five of my other favourites, The A-Team, Airwolf, Nightrider, Miami Vice, and the one I love the most, The Equalizer.
Funny how they were accidentally quite ahead of their time with the bike. They wanted it to look modern, hi tech and a fast road bike but it always had to be built in such a way to hide motocrosser underpinnings (not very well) as they were the only genre of bikes that could be used as a base if the things were gonna actually do real jumps and stunts when filming. Decades later, some really cool bikes are actually not too far off that mix of genres. The music is so nostalgic!
I was so inspired by this bike "street hawk" that I purchased black pulsar 150cc similar to that and started running my bike at hyperthrust speed i love this serial very much.
My chldhood!Im 37 and those 80's TV shows :Street Hawk,Knight Rider,Airwolf,The Highwayman and Automan were also screened in France in mid and late 80's!
Nothing will ever top the 80s trinity of Knight Rider, AirWolf & StreetHawk

Indeed, same here. this was up there with Airwolf, Hardcastle and McCormick, Robocop, Knight Rider, and the lot. Spectacular.
