N Scale Model Brightline and Florida East Coast Railway Trains in Action

- In addition to covering Brightline construction, I am also one of the few people, if not the only person, who models Brightline in any prototypical manner. As part of this, I have designed and built my own fleet of model Brightline trains. This video looks at the newest addition, the new Visit Orlando wrapped train, operating on a very small portion of the fecNtrak modular layout that was primarily made up of my Brightline specific modules. I also run a fairly sizeable Florida East Coast Railway freight. This layout was set up as part of Prototype Rails 2024.

You did a great job modeling the Brightline sets!
Fantastic job you did modeling the Brightline trains and the layout! And I love the alligator climbing on the hill! 🐊Brightline should feature your trains in each of their stations. You do incredible work and your coverage of the construction of the line has been very much appreciated!
Fantastic job bro. Very jelly of your train and layout. Thanks for the updates on the track over the years.
I have asked Bachman, Athearn, Atlas, Rapido and Walthers about doing Brightline. Not a word. Yours look great.
these are incredible models! I respect all the effort it must have took.
Beautiful job of modeling! Great video, too. Thanks for sharing.
Looks amazing! I was looking around for brightline models but no companies make them yet :(
Grest modeling! Love your scratch built Brightline.
Really nice ! As a rail fan and a retired Chevron Rep good to see one of our retail sites in the set up !
There really is a Chevron at that crossing so it had to be there on the model!
Wow! I can't believe you made the models of Brightline! You did a terrific job and should be very proud as well of all the coverage you did and have shown us. Thank you so much for sharing! I have a large HO collection, but I don't think they will be coming out anytime soon. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Love the modular layout meets/shows. I try to catch the one in Eau Gallie when I can.
Great job on the layout and train sets!
Wow, this is a very detailed 3D model. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely models, very nicely detailed.
Very cool modeling. Well done on the Brightline trains.
Amazing…Fantastic job. 👍👍👍.
Your Brightlines are beautiful.
Wow these are awesome! Great work! I have the wooden ones from the Brightline store on my desk at work. I gotta find red and orange still.
Wow this is pretty cool! Thanks for sharing!!
I hope someone makes them. Preferably Kato, their autotrain got me to go back to n scale from o. Beautiful models.
Love the models! Would definitely be interested in a Brightline model if you plan on making more. Again, great work!
@HerzogCompanies Send an email to my Roaming Railfan email and maybe we can work something out: theroamingrailfan@gmail.com
hell yeah!!! I love and model N scale too
Nice work!
Sure beats my Lionel set back in the '50s.
Fantastic model layout there. I've been asking Bachmann Europe for some time now to get Bachmann USA to make HO scale models of Brightline trains so I can make a layout based on one of the stations, which I believe would be a first or one of the first in the UK. I would also take it on the exhibition circuit.
Great job 👍
The FEC train dwarfs the 10-car coal train I’ve been running with a B&O SD7 and C&O caboose!
Beautiful job on train, and in "N" gauge no less.
Marvelous
Oh wow, this is so cool.
I was hoping Lionel would have tooled an O charger and have it in the catalog that was just released. Maybe next year. Awesome job on the N.
Man that’s awesome 😎
Fantastic job on the build. Did you have to hand build all the various Bright Line facilities?? Or did you use pre-made kits?
Did any of the BL management come see it?
Every structure featured on this layout was scratch built. No visits from management this time but they are well aware of my modeling endeavors and knew me for that before I began making videos.
@@RoamingRailfan indeed...very cool. Good job.
Just curious but did you use a kato alc-42 or bachmann SC-44 chassis and then design/print/paint the scb-44 shell? To my knowledge you’re the first person to model brightline, looks amazing!
Neither. I designed these prior to those locomotives being on the market or even announced so it’s based on an ACS64 chassis as that was the closest thing available at the time.
Still waiting for a Brighline set in HO.
very well done on this project - are you runing 12v DC to each line or 15v DCC?
Its all DCC
If not N scale, are HO scale Brightline trains available? Just curious.
The only models commercially available are the wood ones Brightline sells in their stations.
Wonder if Bachmann North America will produce a Brightline train set?
Bachmann has no interest in Brightline
Are the trains 3d printed?
Yes
