Ooh, FFT, a great OST and great story blended together! I have good memories of removing all of Gaffgarion’s equipment to make his betrayal easy to deal with and take him out of the picture.
Oh man. If only I had known during my very first play through. That battle gave me and my brother fits for days I think
We all have the same predicament when we have to face Gaff on the first playthrough. Shit broke down, like literally, when my party wiped out by his repeated Night Sword. At that time I do not have counter effective job against him, because I never have a slightest thinking that Gaff would betray us, and relies on him pretty much on his Night Sword every time, until this battle. What a nightmare..
Yeah, that illustrious first time play through of not ever thinking ild man Gaffgarion would betray you, then he slowly moves away from the party.
The next play through, switch him to a White Mage and remove all equipment! Eat that traitor!! xD

Man, those rapid-fire strings on the violin/viola were hardcore, and David pumping out the brass brought back some great FFT memories. Awesome job, lads!

Andrew, you and your ensemble have done such a phenomenal job covering this song. It has one of my all time favorite OST's in all of gaming, and you've done it a fantastic service. I'm not sure if you intended it, but the game hit it's 25th anniversary on June 20th this year, so I couldn't be more pleased to have found this when I did.
You should absolutely consider covering Trisection as well from FFT, I just know you would blow it out of the water.

You can always tell it's Hitoshi Sakimoto just by listening for 3 seconds. His composing style is so characteristic.

Only thing missing is the really heavy drum hits that help emphasize the spiking action. Everything else is on point. Very well done!
Oh 3:05 from Zeirchele Falls with seeing holy knight delita for the first time and Gaffgarion betrays err shows his true employer. He's probably the best villain of the game and reasons with Ramza multiple times.
Stealing the blood sword in that execution grounds battle is tough but sets up a broken dual wield build with Adrenaline Rush for more speed.
RIP Black/Summon Magic lol you were epic chapter 1 but they're too fast. Hello arcane strength, you make geomancy, speechcraft and iaido's day.

Never played the original FFT, but this goes hard.
One that would be really cool to see you guys do is "Gulug Volcano" from FF9. It's one of the standout pieces from that game, yet it plays in an obscure area and I'm not sure many people know about it.
Mainly it would be cool to see the fast paced flute/recorder played on an actual instrument. The flute part sounds like it would be quite challenging to play.
It does have a lot of synth sounds, but I've noticed you guys seem to be able to handle recreating synth sounds with real instruments.
