    Such a great rhythm section, man, those 2 guys really cook.And I loved the sax player's tentative approach at first, until she grabbed full hold and flung it around. Great version.

    What corps did the drummer march with? He has definite tenor motions...efficient, purposeful, and decisive! The keys are magical, transformative, tenor, fabuloso and the bass...tasteful, accommodating, driven, sexy! This is very nice!!

      Thanks so much! I marched a few drum corps and Wgi groups:
      Glassmen 2005 bass 3
      Bluecoats 2007-08 bass 2
      Music City Mystique 2006 & 2008 bass 1

    I love the way the tenor player starts off like she's working it out by ear for the first time 0:42-1:01. She isn't is she? Is she??? Superb all round especially the drumming.

    Gee, what'd the drummer and the Dj do to get brushed out of the credits? Or do we just assume the obvious.

    • @RickWilkerson
      @RickWilkerson  4 роки тому +1

      Dave Wray Aw man totally forgot you add the dj to the credits! My apologies. This is the drummers channel so figured people would know who it is. Lol

    what's happening rhythmically- is it 6/8 superimposed over 3/4 on drums ?

    • @kardozo777
      @kardozo777 5 років тому

      I don't believe its superimposed since the count will match at the end of 4 bars. every part of this song is at least 4 bars each chord, it will make sense 4*6 = 24, 3*8 = 24. the drummer can count 8 bars and the other may count 4 bars. But i believe he's counting in 6/8 'cause the way he count every drumm fill.

    • @RickWilkerson
      @RickWilkerson  4 роки тому

      Counting it like a 3/4!!
