Okay, don’t get me wrong: I am literally so proud of Jaclyn for her success, the ladders she’s climbed and how phenomenally boss she is. Kudos 100 and ZERO hate. She’s absolutely killing it and obviously queen of the game. BUT I really, really, miss non “production value” UA-cam. You know, when it felt like a casual relatable girl you sat down with who went to work (like a 9-5 not glamorous job) and was just as casual as you. I’m so proud of the quality of these and it’s amazing but also, it hits a point where you can’t relate and it sort of feels like you can feel all the money and massive business and industry behind it and it... just feels foreign to an average ass girl like me. Partially, I blame UA-cam because the algorithm nuking clearly favors production “TV” value you -tubers only and massive advertising and campaigns and also makes it damn impossible to find more small youtubers or “casual” gals (since it literally sinks them in the algorithm since there isn’t big money to be made...) but I miss it. :/ I hope this doesn’t sound like hate but I wonder if anyone else can relate. (This is nothing against Jaclyn to reiterate, I’m a huge huge fan, it just seems she’s like a kardashian level starlet sometimes verses like.... bitch rolling out of bed at 7 cranking eyeshadow in five minutes flat cause that’s all we got 😂 coming from a girl whose been subscribed since the kitchen days and always will be! ❤️)
I feel you!! I actually look at UA-cam videos based on the date to find smaller channels. Me personally, I film videos in my bed...but like have a nice background. 😂

Definitely nothing wrong with it sweet pea. What I would personally like to see more of is maybe some vlogs. More into her everyday life. Fab or not. Like running late or going to like 3 meetings. What she eats these days. Is her beautiful house messy. Shes been keeping us at a distance since hes been public about her divorce and for good reason. I would too. So not only the videos but you're probably also feeling the respectful distance. I've just come to respect it as how shes made her channel. Maybe when shes ready we can just see a video of her playing with her dogs and driving around (in her Benz truck lols) 🤷🏽♀️💙
Completely Agree!! I wish they would make 2nd channels for these type videos. I'm happy for her, but as they grow, we lose a lot of what we first fell in love with their channel for. I watch more of the New smaller Ytubers now. I know people grow and change as they go through life but it makes me miss the earlier yrs as they put out more infomercials or plugging products.

If you put all your energy into creating something beautiful for your subscribers then you should be excited to share it everywhere. And she hasn't been making much videos because of her divorce process. Now that she's happy again, we have seen she is making much more videos frequently, so it won't be about Morphe all the time. Give the girl some time!

But honestly I appreciate my favorite youtuber pairing with a brand that is actually affordable so i am able to afford the great things she comes out with, and i know maybe some higher end brands may have some better qualityproducts, but you cant deny she puts a lot of work into making great products that have always worked for me so far,
However, I do agree that i would love to see more OG makeup tutorials and faveorites like she used to make and include a wider range of brands in thoes videos
$165 for brushes really isnt affordable. At all. I can afford it but I would never spend that on brushes. No way. Too many comparable ones that are way cheaper. No thanks! All her other stuff though....fantastic. I am sad people are hating on the vault, it's one hell of a deal.
Okay let me just start off by saying I just received my master collection in the mail this afternoon and I’m in LOVE 😍😍 but seriously, scrolling through these comments I didn’t see a single positive comment. Wether it’s someone saying she just posts for money or how her “face looks weird”. What happened to women supporting women? I bought the eye master brush set today, and they were already fraying when I took them out. they look even worse after a first wash. i wanted to love the brushes like i do her makeup, and i’m sad the brushes are already fraying. :(

Woah. I just read through some of these comments and just don't understand all of the hate. Jaclyn Hill is an entrepreneur, she is not selling out or "shady". She is a boss babe. She has created these gorgeous eye shadow collections and brush line with Morphe and she she is excited about it. If you were in her shoes, and were able achieve your personal goals, you would be excited about it as well. I am currently in the beginning stages of my Instagram/blog and I aspire to be as successful or honestly, half as successful as Jaclyn one day. I feel like we should be celebrating her successes with her instead of posting such negative comments. I have the original Jaclyn Hill pallet and I can honestly say that I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I LOVE the pallet. I plan on buying her new vault collection eye shadows and probably the brush set as well. Why you might ask?Jaclyn has worked SO HARD on not only her youtube channel but every single one of those eye shadow colors/consistency/ packaging and each and everyone of those brushes in the set. I say, three cheers for Jaclyn. The original bad ass boss babe that we all have learned from and love. Everyone’s complaining that she works with Morphe too much but why would she let go of a good thing? They give her creative control and are easy to work with. They just mesh well together and the products are always bomb!

I find the hate comments so weird. This is her job, it’s her career. She’s found a brand that she loves and she has clearly made a happy and professional relationship with the brand owner... why is that a bad thing? When I watch smaller UA-camrs, I always think ‘gosh they’re so good, why isn’t anyone else appreciating this?! Why aren’t brands jumping on this?!’ Yet here we have someone who loves makeup and made it her career, yet people are acting like $6 a brush is expensive. She is earning a living here. She doesn’t need to be doing favours. Yes it took three years, but she did say that she’s released the Vault and the original palette in that time too... as well as moving house and sadly going through the breakdown of her marriage. I guess I just don’t understand that people hate success. She was ‘real’ when she was poor and had so few subscribers and everyone wishes success. Then it happens and we hate hate hate because she’s gained confidence, both personal and financial. Personally, I wish any woman success when they’ve managed to come from nowhere to be working with a major brand.

really? I bought your "favorite brush" kit last year that came with a black magnetic box and all of these brushes seem pretty much the same! Sorry, this seems like another grab for money, let's change the colors on the handles, stamp my name on them, make the box silver glitter and reaunch it and maybe they will fall for it again! In a couple of videos she refers to her eyeshadows as truly her own. Obviosly, she created them with her heart and soul as the other collaborations, but it me gave me the vibes as if they were patented by her as if they are Jaclyn's product for Morphe not Morphe's products created by Jaclyn. I don't know, who knows if when she finally launch her own makeup line, we'll be seeing some of her Morphe stuff or she owning Morphe.
At some point wasn't she making her own line ? Whatever happened to that? Yes she's had so much success with morphe and congrats with that, but I feel she could have done more and been bigger on her own.

I wish everyone would stop hating on the way she did her makeup. It's her face, it's her choice. Makeup doesn't have a right or wrong way to do it. With that being said I have to agree that she hasn't really posted an actual video in forever, always just showing off her new launches and trying to get us to buy stuff. She pulled out of their good faith agreement to collaborate with Morphe for more money and cost Marlena about a million dollars, which is why JH has never mentioned makeup geek since. Look into it. Has anyone watched the video by Stephanie Nicole where she talks about how crown beauty and morphe are made in the same factory ..they just have different names slapped on them? I think after a lot of research, Wayne Goss has the highest quality brushes and he literally puts the work into it since he started the company.

I'm vegetarian and largely cruelty-free, but I had the understanding that their makeup and natural brushes were cruelty-free per this article from Cruelty-Free Kitty: www.crueltyfreekitty.com/news/is-morphe-cruelty-free/. Obviously everyone has different opinions about whether natural brushes can even be considered cruelty-free, but as a company I thought they were.

I appreciate your genuine question though :) you're right, everyone has different interpretations! Edit: in reference to the article you linked, the list of cruelty-free brands mentioned within the article did not list Morphe, but I'm not sure if this is an accident/oversight? I can't really speak to that.

I’m a long time subscriber and I’ve already bought literally every Morphe brush that you’ve recommended, because I trust your opinion. This seems repetitive and unnecessary and comes off as another way to sell us something. I don't see the big deal. If you had the opportunity to keep creating products you're passionate about would you not? Or would you rather work 9-5 doing something far less fun. Idk I just like to celebrate the success of another woman , and hell yeah I want brushes to match my vault. Her last collab before vault was last year.
This isn’t about not celebrating her success. She is doing the same thing over and over.. constantly trying to sell her products is overshadowing her passion for doing tutorials. It’s like she ran out of ideas and was like well I’ll just make every video trying to sell my shit.

At bh cosmetics you can get beautiful brushes that work wonderfully. 12 brushes for your face and eyes for 17 dollars. Just saying

yeah, I got a brush set from bh and while they get the job done, they’re not near as nice as morphe brushes. they don’t blend well and don’t pick up a lot. so they’re good for simple days but can’t do much more than that.

I'm literally so hyped!!!! I've loved Jaclyn since she first came out with champagne pop collab with Becca cosmetics then her champagne pop and Prosecco pop blush pallete with Becca cosmetics again! I absolutely fell inlove with her first pallete realise with Morphe! My vault collection came with 2 palletes with a shadow shattered and they sent out 2 replacement pallets for me within 2 days! I was really impressed by customer service! I love the vault collection!!!! I got all new brushes, 2 palettes, and a bunch of over stuff for 4 interest free payments of $16.11, I made one payment at checkout, and it comes tomorrow. You pay every 2 weeks the same amount for 4 cycles. (Or you can pay it off sooner) once you pay it off, you earn up trust and can get your allowance “borrowed” to much more each time. Not for everyone but it’s helpful for me, and they don’t charge a fee for it, so it’s legit paying the same amount, just over 6 -8 weeks! Good luck! I have to say I’m kinda shocked at the amount of brushes they were copied from the original Morphe also at how plain they are. I thought these brushes would be blinged out! Also to not have an eyebrow brush one is amazing to me also! Don’t get me wrong there are some good brushes in this release but not $165 worth. 🤷🏼♀️
Pamela Mink they’re about $6 a piece. She doesn’t use an eyebrow brush, she uses ABH Brow definer. And I think they’re on brand for how her palettes look. If they were “blinged out”, they’d be more expensive.

The Master Collection is $165, if you use her Morphe code that’s roughly $150, say you’re paying $10 for the hard makeup case alone, each of the 24 brushes ends up costing less than $6.

Laura Lee put up her Morphe brushes collection for $42 and it was 11 brushes... i can't stand that girl and even she had a better price than Jaclyn. these are no different than the regular Morphe brushes that are worth half the price so if u can't see how much she's upcharging then I guess go for it and waste ur money....

I was reluctant to spend this much on makeup brushes BUT in the end I couldn't resist! I've been looking for reliable and great quality brushes for so long, after seeing and reading so many great reviews I finally ordered them and cannot be more excited! You still get the discount even if the brushes are already on sale. Thank you in advance for these! (Ordered the complete set)
These brushes are ridiculously over priced. Just saying. If you go on their website, you can find several different 12 or 15 piece sets that are like $25. Also there is a master set of 30 brushes for $150 which is still less than her whole collection which only comes with 24. Plus half of her brushes are literally just regular morphe brushes. I would recommend anyone considering to get these to look at other collections first.

Jenny Wilde if you read correctly it states they don’t test their “finished product” on animals.... and they use natural and synthetic brushes..... natural brushes, come from animals... it also states that they have vegan brushes and state which ones are vegan and which ones aren’t, they worded things carefully.... but I don’t believe shit they say. If you’re truly an animal lover I’d be careful with them. ❤️
