You are a real Mom, with real situations, and I appreciate your honesty in your videos so, so much! You are a breath of fresh air in the UA-cam world where editing and photoshop make some people's lives seem too perfect. I am slowly growing my channel and look up to you as a source of motivation and inspiration to keep going on those days where I wonder, "why am I doing this?" Thank you so much!! Hugs from Texas, Shelly

So real! I've been binging your content the last few days while recovering from a tooth being pulled and I have to say your realness and positivity mixed with your faith on God is a much needed breath of fresh air for fellow moms. Thank you!!!! And I love that you are folding laundry at the kitchen table while chatting with us 🙌🤍

Oddly but when you said your UA-cam videos paid your mortgage, I was soooo happy for you. Being able to stay at home and make such a significant contribution is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

+Ebony Frink Just because a mom works outside of the home, doesn't mean she isn't devoted. In fact, I find our time together to be awesome! They are in school all day, so I miss NOTHING. I give them everything they need.

      @lindamcneil711 8 років тому +1

This in no way implies that. Working mother is less devoted to her children. I have done both. That said, I do know that when I was home, my full focus was on the children. My heart, mind and energy was there. When I worked, I was divided.., it is a woman's choice and I am grateful for the choice to be able to work and the ability to stay home. Both families can have strong relationships with their children... neither should condemned or demeaned because they choose to work or they choose to stay home.

Why would anyone feel bad about making money on youtube?!? Wow....I've never heard of that. Most people don't realize how much work it is to create, manage, edit and maintain a youtube channel. I'm a working mom of 2 toddlers & a wife. Plus I make youtube videos. I plan on creating a video about juggling everything because its a lot of work but so worth it.

listening to you talk about the lofty expectations we have on ourselves was so therapeutic for me. I struggle severely with perfectionism & anxiety traits that I don't want. my brain is split between needing things a certain way & just going with the flow. Hearing you get in to that was just what I needed. BTW you've motivated me to look for my first apron to put that pep in me. :) God Bless you & I'm thankful for your channel.

You can take cooking classes all over your area, but my grandparents subscribed to all the cooking magazines back in the day(now we have internet) and commit that each week you will try something new! The reason why I say do it now is so you can have those memories w/ your kids helping you in the kitchen, to help them learn too, but you will have a broad taste pallet w/ your children. Best memories are made in the kitchen! Love your channel! I am binge watching ya! lol Marisa in Az(former Pastry Chef)

I love your style with these Q and A videos! You're just doing your thing, housework, laundry, and I feel like I'm sitting there with you at the other side of the table sipping my tea. You definitely have a natural talent for being likable and authentic and friendly, and I love that you get paid for that. I'm extremely introverted so it wouldn't work for me, but you are using your gifts to brighten our days, and that's awesome! New subbie here. :)

Stay at home mom is a job!!! After all my kids were in school I went to work part time and although there were adjustments it was good for everyone because the children had more responsible and I was fulfilled because I was doing something that someone actually paid me to do. So both times of my life were good: stay at home mom and working outside of the home too. It's amazing how people's lives are so much the same especially people in the church. Trials with kids, family get togethers, folding cloths, pack meeting, aprons, etc. love your blog. I'm new to this but just wanted you to know how much I enjoy you and your ideas. And yes I am cleaning and organizing my bathroom today. But I'm starting a quilt with our trip to Nauvoo as the theme so I may spend more time in the sewing room than cleaning.

Loved the way you did this video! I appreciated the wisdom with 'letting go.' My kids are all teens and soon transitioning into adulthood. My grandma always said when it comes to your kids, get rid of all pre-conceived notions. Like you said, you have this picture in your mind of how things will be as a mom. Through the Lord, I'm trying to rid myself of anxiety, among other things, giving them over to Him. (Otherwise the anxiety will take over.) Thank you for sharing your life!

I loved this way of a Q&A! Great job! Also, when I hear you chatting along I do feel like your my friend and we are chatting. I catch myself going along listening and answering back. Lol! My kids crack up about that. 😜 I feel we are in similar stages in life so I relate well with your channel. Keep up the good work. It brightens my day. I have to say your answer about likes and dislikes of parenthood is spot on! I do see that my anxiety is less as I try my best to accept that my kids are different peg shapes. They mold into different shapes here and there. Sometimes after they get through a phase they fit but then the grow again and the shape is not fitting again. Does that make any sense??😁

when you put on your moisturizer in this video, I thought that you already had makeup on before that.(which I'm guessing I was wrong! ) you have a great complexion. I have a lot of redness before I have any makeup on.

Love your videos, personality, "real-ness", and that you aren't going to apologize for making money on YT. You are awesome...and almost make me want to buy an apron...almost. ;)

your life is your business. You want to tell us that is cool. If you don't tell us that is cool. I'm basically an open book. There are few chapters no one gets to know. You are awesome

Great vlog on family and letting go! It's so hard to do. I suck at it! I've learned not to look at other families and think "wow how do they do it all" the reality is they probably don't! Most of what people post on Facebook is not real!!!

I am a new subscriber and I love your videos! You are so real and encouraging!!! Thank you for putting out positive, clean content! I'm not a wife or a mother (yet), but I work with kids and parents and know from watching my clients and friends how hard it is to parent.
I was just wondering how did you chose your kids names? They are so unique! :-)

I have same kind of undereyes. You need a salmon under eye corrector. Foundation but not under the eye and then concealer. You should use a beauty blender too.

Newer subscriber. I'm 55 and have never worn aprons. That's now going to change. I have a couple passed down to me from my mom and grandmother that I'll be wearing. I can see how it'd be motivational. Thanks for the terrific idea.
