Hello friends from ZOTEK! You must fix one significant drawback, I'm sure that all owners of this model ZT-702S will agree with me. The problems is that: 1). The device does not remember the last operating mode after turning off. It would be perfect if the device began to work with the last mode used. Correct the firmware, please! Because now, if i need to use the measuring mode of the capacitors, I need to press the buttons 6 times (!) each time after turning on the device. This is the main problem of this device, and you simply must fix it as soon as it posible. 2). And the second problem, this is in the oscilograph mode: the yellow line is lower than the center of the yellow triangle. The yellow line is not displayed correctly, it should be slightly higher.

@ I would not advise you to update the firmware, my device after updating the firmware to 51 began to freeze when I try to turn on TR-mode, this mode no longer works, I can't turn on SINGLE or NORMAL mode, now I need to reset the settings to return the device to working condition. In short, the glitches have started, the device is slowly failing.
VCO option in multimeter mode for tuning by sound (voltage controlled oscillator) it changes buzzer sound frequency so you can have multimeter away and working on voltage changing item and don't have to look at display, but listen for sound change! Great for tuning or troubleshooting!
Hello Zotek, I have just purchased this oscilloscope and really i love it. But i would suggest two improvements for future firmware updates to make it even better: 1. Can we have a duty cycle measurement in oscilloscope mode? 2. Could the display of the multimeter have two modes. One with the bar graph and other view without bar graph and bigger numbers?
It seems the duty cycle measurement was added to the oscilloscope mode with firmware 1.03.58. For the measurement to be displayed one needs to turn on the "MoreMeas" option in the settings menu.
Changelog??? I think there is a massive waste of screen space also, I think everyone would be happy with just a small bar graph at the very top edge of the screen, perfectly horizontal, next to the battery level indicator, at the same height as the battery icon. That would be plenty. Even if you made the bar graph as high as the battery icon and then had an indicator needle for the bar graph that was the same amount of pixels underneath (so the bar graph and the indicator needle was twice the height of the battery icon), that would leave such a super massive area to enlarge the digits. I'd maybe save space and choose to run the needle through the bar graph though, rather than underneath it. Obviously its a great product if the main thing people complain about is just the digit size and the power-on setting memory. It seems easy and a no brainer to fix these little things. Personally, I wish it was a device tester too, but how much would that raise the price? I have to settle for the DSO-TC3
Maybe you could have new features added in firmware updates, for example, when you hold F1 and turn the unit on, Auto Power Off is disabled. Hold F2 instead for a second display layout without the bar graph.
Thanks! I like this device and ones like this. What is very important to me is a fast update rate. When I use the oscilloscope, I want the screen to update like 10 times per second. It is very important when I use it to analyse audio for example, or even voltage drop etc. I know it can be harder on the battery, but if it has a rechargable battery then I don't think it's an issue. Or maybe fast refresh could be an option you could turn on or off. I hope you continue to innovate!

При этом среднеквадратичное значение показывает правильно, а Vpp действительно показывает ошибочное и неустойчивое значение. Но если сигнал уменьшить до 4-х клеточек экранной сетки, то снова все работает нормально в плане измерений. Таким образом сигнал должен быть 4 клетки от нуля в верх и вниз, тогда Vpp показывается верно. Если же от нуля вверх идет более 4-х клеток, то Vpp уже прыгает и неустойчиво отображается.
As of today, I don't see any significant difference. The device's algorithms may have been changed/improved. The only difference I noticed is that when you turn on the scope, the multimeter displays the bar graph first and after a second the digital indicator. In the previous version, the entire multimeter screen was displayed immediately. I wrote to the manufacturer about the changes compared to version v31.03.51 - I did not receive a reply. Regards.
Na dzień dzisiejszy nie widzę znaczącej różnicy. Być może zmieniono/poprawiono algortymy urządzenia. Jedyna różnica jaką zauważyłem to, że po włączenia skoposkopu w rybie multimetru najpierw wyświetla się bargraf i po sekundzie wskażnik cyfrowy. W poprzedniej wersji cały ekran multmetru wyświetlał się natychmiast. Napisałem do producenta co się zmieniło względem wersji v31.03.51 - nie otrzymałem odpowiedzi. Pozdrawiam.

Bardzo ciekawe spostrzeżenia tego skopometru można poczytać na stronie internetowej. Niestety UA-cam blokuje oba linki. (nie pozwala na umieszczenie adresów)

I received it recently and I have been quite happy with it (almost). I am more interested in the multimeter mode, the oscilloscope is what it is. It came with 10.3.55 and I did not upgrade yet. Is it worth upgrading? One user noted that autorange did not work for capacitance. It seems to work on mine but you cannot switch it to manual for capacitance. The "analog" meter is useless for me as the refresh rate is to slow, the scale is always 0-100 and it has this ugly red tint below the meter. The space could be put to a better use. One thing I don't like very much in multimeter mode is the function keys: First mA should not be F4 but F3 to be close to V and A. For consistancy it should also have just AC / DC like V and A. Doing so would make F4 the key for all the other functions which is not very pratical but there is a simple solution which should not be very difficult to implement: In multimeter mode the arrow keys are not in use. Put them to good use by having 2 sets of function keys which can be switched by using the right and left arrows. First set of function keys: F1 V, toggle AC / DC F2 A, toggle AC / DC F3 mA, toggle AC / DC F4 Resistance, toggle Ohms / Continuity Press the > or < key to switch to the 2nd set. Second set of function keys: F1 Diode F2 Capacitance F3 Temperature F4 Could be used to display the battery voltage Any function can be accessed with a maximum of 3 key press. 3 are needed when the 2nd set of function keys is active and you want to access the 2nd function on one of the 1st set of function keys: 1 key press on < or >, and 2 key press on the function key. This would make the multimeter use way better than it is now.

Does the 702s allow oscilloscope voltage readings up to 220/240v to observe the sine wave of the AC power signal. If it doesn't can this be made available later through a software update. The multimeter mode has no restrictions on this voltage level. The documentation isn't very clear whether the 10x probe allows this.
I looked at a lot of reviews on this device and nowhere did I find a mention of such, maybe not very noticeable, as it seems to me, a software glitch in terms of display - this is a periodic flicker of symbols of the type of measurement in multimeter mode, such as AC, DC, graphic elements of a resistor, diode, calls. This manifests itself in the form of a small periodic flickering of the upper part of these elements on the screen. I am the owner of this device, and at first I thought that it was only me who had such a jamb, but after looking at several reviews, this is also noticeable on the video. У меня ZOYI ZT702S, версия V1.03.51 приобретён 08.08.2023 и у меня тоже есть такой момент. Верхняя часть символов измеряемого режима слегка мигает. Если нажать "Hold" - не мигает. Спасибо, что вы это написали.
@@Ruslan.M66 У меня ZOYI ZT702S, и тоже версия ПО V1.03.51 ,приобретён в июне и у меня тоже есть такая особенность. Верхняя часть символов измеряемого режима подмигивает. Я думаю,что это связано с обновлением данных на дисплее. И да, если нажать "Hold" - не мигает.
MAXRIENY ZT-702S V1.03.55 так же,наблюдается мерцание (горизонт полоса) затрагивающая верхнюю часть символов (AC,DC. значки прозвонка,резистор) : в режиме ослика такого подмаргивания нет. Такое впечатление,что экран так и сделали(огромная безтолковая шкала вверху и цифры ниже центра)-что бы это подмаргивание не маячило на цифрах(замерах). Сыровато устройство - но мне нравится.Успехов.

I used mine once and now it refuses to form a trace. The multimeter works and when it is in scope mode it shows voltage at the bottom of the screen. I know it was only $70 but dang, that was pretty crappy. I'll try this software update and see what happens.

Hi, I have two of those. The only thing I don't understand is: Why only 20mV/Div? (most have 10mV/Div) I guess you can't do anything at this. (Hardware design ?) Updated to v1.03.58 - It has Duty (Period is gone) - On v1.03.55 and v1.03.58 Auto/Range don't work for Capacity measure. If Downgrade is possible, can you also prepare v1.03.55 for download? (for those who prefer Period over Pulse) It also has a manual , so read it before you watch some "stupid" test videos on UA-cam.

С алиэкспресс получил устройство с версией 1.03.55, после выключения и включения теперь запоминается последний режим измерения, т.е. режим осциллографа теперь не будет всегда включаться первым.
It's a good measuring tool. But it uses up the battery quickly. If the frameware can adjust the battery power consumption to last longer, for example, when the input does not change or is detected by the algorithm within a few seconds. The screen light goes down but doesn't turn off. Is this feature possible?
USER - Mine came with a bad battery. I had some on hand & replaced it. Seems to hold a charge for a long time now. It has been sitting for 4 months or more & it is still at 100%. I complained & ZOYI gave me a $5 coupon to use on a future product.
My Zoyi ZT 702 the calibration option does not work, it shows failure. I have version 1.03.58, I don't know if it is the firmware. Where can I find a previous firmware?

@@luiscordova9308 Yes, a multimeter and an oscilloscope. Under Multimeter Mode AC it shows Freq up to 1Khz. Under Oscilloscope Mode it tries what it can do. I get a nice Sinus at +9000Khz but this is already close over the specification. So, maybe if it counts over 10Mhz ... no guarantee So, useless measure OK? Sorry, dont be angry. Its a nice toy for hobby and home. Dont expect wonders for 50$ /€
@@herbyking4242 Why do you complicate yourself? They just have to create a mode where The Frequency comes out in a big way, with an update, it's something easy and fast, I'm not asking for something impossible. The 5 dollar multimeters have a frequency mode and this 50 dollar one does not.

Вероятно,что нет никакого способа. Там специальный формат для прошивки ztk и он должен поддерживаться загрузчиком ПО, а в версии 1.03.30 такой поддержки нет согласно видео. Из-за нестандартного формата даже программатор не поможет Вам. Я и не видел приборов с этой версией ПО 1.03.30.
Не стоит переживать из-за не возможности обновлять прошивку, эта кантора совсем не слушает своих клиентов и не исправляет косяки кривой прошивки, она какая была вначале, такой и осталась, Вы ничего не теряете. Я уже жалею что купил это барахло, ибо режим мультиметра страшно не практичен, надо нажимать 6 раз кнопки что бы добраться до режима замера емкости конденсаторов, после каждого включения прибора, как и любого другого режима мультиметра, это страшно бесит. Эти умники никак не могут внедрить функцию запоминания последнего использованного режима после включения прибора, это пожалуй самый ужасный косяк этой модели, который не дает пользоваться прибором как мультиметром на каждый день. Я купил себе UNI-T UT39E+ специально для своего стола, где старая добрая крутилка для выбора режима. В общем, не надо печалиться иза кривой прошивки, она итак не изменилась, как я уже сказал.

Does the 702s allow oscilloscope voltage readings up to 220/240v to observe the sine wave of the AC power signal. If it doesn't can this be made available later through a software update. The multimeter mode has no restrictions on this voltage level. The documentation isn't very clear whether the 10x probe allows this.

I tested it with 10x probe. it worked exactly as you mentioned.

У меня ZOYI ZT702S, версия V1.03.51 приобретён 08.08.2023 и у меня тоже есть такой момент.
Верхняя часть символов измеряемого режима слегка мигает. Если нажать "Hold" - не мигает. Спасибо, что вы это написали.

У меня ZOYI ZT702S, и тоже версия ПО V1.03.51 ,приобретён в июне и у меня тоже есть такая особенность. Верхняя часть символов измеряемого режима подмигивает. Я думаю,что это связано с обновлением данных на дисплее. И да, если нажать "Hold" - не мигает.
MAXRIENY ZT-702S V1.03.55 так же,наблюдается мерцание (горизонт полоса) затрагивающая верхнюю часть символов (AC,DC. значки прозвонка,резистор) : в режиме ослика такого подмаргивания нет. Такое впечатление,что экран так и сделали(огромная безтолковая шкала вверху и цифры ниже центра)-что бы это подмаргивание не маячило на цифрах(замерах). Сыровато устройство - но мне нравится.Успехов.
Finally, the firmware was updated, but not at all as it should have been, and this did not solve the main problem: I still press the button 5 times to turn on the capacity measurement, before updating the firmware I pressed 6 times and this is the main problem, why can't you fix it? I don't understand! I used mine once and now it refuses to form a trace. The multimeter works and when it is in scope mode it shows voltage at the bottom of the screen. I know it was only $70 but dang, that was pretty crappy. I'll try this software update and see what happens.

Hi, I have two of those. The only thing I don't understand is: Why only 20mV/Div? (most have 10mV/Div) I guess you can't do anything at this. (Hardware design ?) Updated to v1.03.58 - It has Duty (Period is gone) - On v1.03.55 and v1.03.58 Auto/Range don't work for Capacity measure. If Downgrade is possible, can you also prepare v1.03.55 for download? (for those who prefer Period over Pulse) It also has a manual , so read it before you watch some "stupid" test videos on UA-cam.

С алиэкспресс получил устройство с версией 1.03.55, после выключения и включения теперь запоминается последний режим измерения, т.е. режим осциллографа теперь не будет всегда включаться первым.

It's a good measuring tool. But it uses up the battery quickly.
If the frameware can adjust the battery power consumption to last longer, for example, when the input does not change or is detected by the algorithm within a few seconds. The screen light goes down but doesn't turn off.
Is this feature possible?
Maybe install a higher capacity battery? Mine came with bad battery. So I installed a Hi Cap battery & good so far.
USER - Mine came with a bad battery. I had some on hand & replaced it. Seems to hold a charge for a long time now. It has been sitting for 4 months or more & it is still at 100%. I complained & ZOYI gave me a $5 coupon to use on a future product.
My Zoyi ZT 702 the calibration option does not work, it shows failure. I have version 1.03.58, I don't know if it is the firmware. Where can I find a previous firmware?

@@luiscordova9308 Yes, a multimeter and an oscilloscope. Under Multimeter Mode AC it shows Freq up to 1Khz. Under Oscilloscope Mode it tries what it can do. I get a nice Sinus at +9000Khz but this is already close over the specification. So, maybe if it counts over 10Mhz ... no guarantee So, useless measure OK? Sorry, dont be angry. Its a nice toy for hobby and home. Dont expect wonders for 50$ /€
@@herbyking4242 Why do you complicate yourself? They just have to create a mode where The Frequency comes out in a big way, with an update, it's something easy and fast, I'm not asking for something impossible. The 5 dollar multimeters have a frequency mode and this 50 dollar one does not.

Click above Link - Make shure that the downloaded file is NOT under C:/Windows... or other protected Dirs. Or open Explorer and search for ZOYI-702S-FW-V58(1).ZTK and open it (when FNIRSI screen is asking for it)
I see ZOYI-702S-FW-V58(1).ZTK but windows doesn't have a way to open it. There is no FNIRSI prompt.
OK for some reason Windows hid the Firmware file. I unhid it but it still won't open.
I had Windows repair the FIRMWARE file & then I could load 58, finally.

Как можно обновить прошивку с версии 1.03.30? Есть ли какой то способ?
Вероятно,что нет никакого способа. Там специальный формат для прошивки ztk и он должен поддерживаться загрузчиком ПО, а в версии 1.03.30 такой поддержки нет согласно видео. Из-за нестандартного формата даже программатор не поможет Вам. Я и не видел приборов с этой версией ПО 1.03.30.
Не стоит переживать из-за не возможности обновлять прошивку, эта кантора совсем не слушает своих клиентов и не исправляет косяки кривой прошивки, она какая была вначале, такой и осталась, Вы ничего не теряете. Я уже жалею что купил это барахло, ибо режим мультиметра страшно не практичен, надо нажимать 6 раз кнопки что бы добраться до режима замера емкости конденсаторов, после каждого включения прибора, как и любого другого режима мультиметра, это страшно бесит. Эти умники никак не могут внедрить функцию запоминания последнего использованного режима после включения прибора, это пожалуй самый ужасный косяк этой модели, который не дает пользоваться прибором как мультиметром на каждый день. Я купил себе UNI-T UT39E+ специально для своего стола, где старая добрая крутилка для выбора режима. В общем, не надо печалиться иза кривой прошивки, она итак не изменилась, как я уже сказал.

@@user-fh6et8ye9k Благодарю Вас, но они так и не поняли, что мы от них требуем, они решили проблему только на 15% и что бы добраться до измерения конденсаторов, теперь я нажимаю кнопки 5 раз вместо 6, как это было до обновки, а я хочу начинать работу прибора с того режима на котором я выключил прибор) Может однажды....
