I stabbed out my last cigarette around seven years back after having read the Easy Way. RIP Sir, you really deserved to be proclaimed saint for your help to people. Greetings from Belarus.
I stopped smoking (I didn't give up) in 1989 having read Alan's book. So did my uncle. Thanks Alan.
Never met him, but has probably saved mine and many other's lives.
I spent many years with the permanent desire to quit smoking and it always failed, my violin teacher jokingly told me "quitting smoking is very easy, I quit about 50 times". In the end I managed to quit smoking in 2008 thanks to Allen's book, the first day I read about 190 pages and the rest the next day and since then not only have I not smoked again but I have not even thought about it again, I It is very sad when I see a person smoking. Quitting smoking has been one of the biggest changes in my life and I want to highlight this: I owe it to Allen Carr.
Rodo thank you for taking the time to write this post and we are pleased to hear your story which we hope will inspire others to be free.
The psychology Mr Carr uses is spot on. It may seem like a small thing but the fact that you have to keep drinking/smoking while reading the book, doing the program, drives his points so much harder. To sum it up, don’t get caught up with social conditioning and the business of rehab, recovery is 100% mental. Take your life back , you can do it.

Thanks for your comments and hope it will encourage others to freedom
Yes its brainwash and illusion
Believe it or not! I read easy way to stop smoking then I read easy way to stop alcohol I stopped! It's been 2 years since I stopped, now I'm reading easy way to stop sugar wish me luck
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about best effective way to stop smoking try Skyarza Amazing Smoker Star(do a google search ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got great results with it.
bill Bloggs as Allen clearly says, there’s no such thing as an addictive personality
@@BillXR400R relapsed on the drinking alcohol but still have not smoked a cigarette in almost 7 years! I need to Embed his theory in my head like I have with cigarettes with Alcohol
@@ajayb2478 fair play for the update my fren!!! Thank you for this. I bought this book years ago, read maybe halfway through then stopped reading for some reason. I didn't actually understand how powerful this book seems to be (I'm about to start reading it again), I'm listening to a lot of positive testimonials. Thank you again for your update. How are you doing now??
@@ajayb2478update?
HE was absolutely right about nicotine replacement patches etc
coincidentally i lost my dad to throat cancer in 2006, he smoked the pipe for over 30 years, my second day without a cigarette. RIP John Carr
RIP Allen Carr
Sorry about your dad. May i ask the not smoking is going 2 years after your initial comment?
@@rononicholaskipkemoi1696 maybe his dad was John Carr? XD
The good Karma that this gentleman has created is phenomenal.
I'm literally a few cigarettes away from stopping after 28 years, two thirds of my life, because of his book.
did you do it?
@@maxl10k I'd love to say yes but I'd be lying.
I will give up in the future though. 🤤
@@SpotlessLeopard I tried probably 4 times before it worked ! I would go one month , 6 months, without a cigarette, to have just one and be a full time smoker , again ! You can’t have one and every time I quit before was a learning experience! Try , again ! You can do it !!
Rip sir Allen Carr your are one of England's greatest people in history it's a shame our government and so called stop smoking experts and salesman did not give you the time of day and I wonder why ?????????
Cass Caro because cigarettes bring in too much money. Our governments don't care, our doctors don't care, they make billions of dollars from smokers... It's the same thing with Cancer. There Are cures out there. There Are! But Cancer brings billions of dollars in each and every year.

@@msgr9499 totally agree with you. $$$ makes the world go round..... and influences policies and decisions.... even for you and I at times maybe
I’ve been a nonsmoker since 11-11-22 after 44 years of smoking. Thank you, Allen.
I gave up smoking 30 a day in 2008, after reading Allen Carr's easyway. I Lasted for 5 years. I gave my book to someone else. Like a fool in 2013 I tried one cigarette (no such thing as one) If I still had the book & read the 1st chapter chapter I wouldn't have smoked that ONE cigarette. I read the book again in 2020 & I'm one year nicotine free. I agree 100% with the NO nicotine replacement therapy in easyway. Many times I tried quit using willpower, patches gum, e cigarette. All of times I ended up smoking cigarettes also. ONE year after reading Allen Carr's easyway for the 2nd time. I know I'll never use nicotine again. I also kept a copy of the book this time. Thank you Allen RIP
Purchased and read your book 2 yrs. ago and haven't had a cigarette since. Thank you.
That is great to hear and we hope will encourage others to freedon
Thank you Allan
I am free for 15years now
im currently reading the book. haven't quit yet, but the cravings going away, and starting to really not like the billowing smoke.
Allen Carr is an international hero who has helped so many (including myself) quit nicotine for good!
His method worked for me just fine.
I only can say thank you Allen.
The audio book is absolutely superb the most effective way to stop smoking I ever experienced, worked for me !
this man is amazing. the only way i was able to kick the addiction. its a shame this documentary uses the word "habit" Allen would not approve lol
ADDICTION!!!!! I agree totally. However now that my smoking addiction is gone, I still have stupid habits. Like picking up a lighter when getting in my truck. Driving with the window cracked, the urge to stop what I'm doing at work and go outside just to go outside.
I am on chapter 8. Fascinating book so far...I'm feeling very hopeful...will update. Rip Allen, so far this book is brilliant...
Update?
Wouldnt even listen to a medical proffesional listinging negative feedback , that's how you know They dont give a shit. Alan carrs advice is GOLD.
I just got this book and im super excited to read it. Especially after reading these comments. My coworker told me 8 years ago he quit after reading this book. Wish me luck
How far into the book have you got
I stopped smoking cigarettes almost 5 years ago. Cold Turkey and it wasn't difficult because i thought myself te see what cigarettes are really like!. When i thought about smoking i told myself that cigarettes are bad and if you see it like this then it will be not hard to stop!
Cigarette smoking is an illusion and a lie!!!
I’m gonna fight for the right to be smoke free. I will get through this!!!!. 🙏🏼
I'll celebrate my 20th anniversary of successfully quitting smoking later this year. Thanks to one and only Allen Carr.
NOT thanks to any of the idiots who are pushing nicotine products for treating nicotine addiction.
We also need to prevent anyone starting addictions in the first place!
you can't tell convice someone with words. Only with actions.
His wife, Joyce, sounds so sweet and fun. I believe she played a huge role in their successes.❤
I smoked for 28 years. The first time I tried to quit was 23 years ago...I tried ALL the NRT's (patches, gum, inhalators) I did the NHS Cessation clinic. Nothing worked. NOTHING. Especially not the NRT. Easyway was the only thing that got me off the cigarettes. I know so many people that have tried Easyway and are now non smokers - some for more than a decade. These same people all tried NRT previously and failed to quit so these 'professors' can say that NRT is better all they like, I don't believe them because I have witness and experienced the exact opposite. Throw out your nicotine patches - they are keeping you hooked - and buy Allen's book!
Reading it now 🙏. Wish me luck 😊
Fabulous to hear you're reading the book! We're sure you'll do great 😊😊
has worked for me has been 10 months now ! no looking back now!!
How are you going now?? Still cigarette free i hope? 😊
@@cockneyreject1 It has been 4 years now ! I'm very happy now and will not ever take it back up.
@@meanhamneda4 excellent 👍
Super!!! I tried many methods, but only the Allen Carr method helped me quit smoking.
Thank you very much sir....🙏.
I have tried every possible way but failed miserably everytime.
After reading Alen Carrs book I stopped by cold turkey and didn't have a single craving.
Allen Carr easyway book should have been given out on the NHS. Nothing from NHS cessation clinics worked. Allen carr was effective, so why not recommended?
Thanks to Mr. Allen im ex smoker finnaly after 16 years! Thanks sir and RIP
Yes, if you still use nicotine in vapes etc you are still addicted to nicotine. Allen Carr’s method gets you free completely.
I’m done. I know it will be quick and easy.
4 years clear. Thank you sir Allen
The bells and dings in this video are not from your computer; It's in the video.
Omg thank you! That was making me feel.crazy!
Hahha. Thank you. That explains it.
✨Allen Carr's Easyway✨ helped me to easily quit smoking on May 21st 2020. My heartfelt thanks to Allen Carr's Easyway for giving me back my life ✨ 🙏
I quit vaping for good on easy way method. You gotta kill the big monster instead of just focusing on the little one.
ALLEN CARR!!!!! YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
These skeptics can say what they want but I tried nicotine gums and that shit didn't work because I still felt the need to smoke and I was only depriving myself. I finally stopped smoking with Allen Carrs Easy Way method audio book. Doctor's and big farma only believes in pills to prescribe but smoking is an emotional and mental addiction to nicotine/cigarettes that needs to be healed & understood before you can quit successfully.
this method 100% works ,just dont be lazy to watch a 1 hour movie.
1 hour movie? How do I find this?
Theres a company called Lucy Nicotine. They popped up on my allen carr video (what the hell). Not only are they new to an old game, but they are new to the sinking ship that is smoking. Its dying. This company is desperately trying to get people hooked on nicotine in these trying times. I get that it is an alternative. But their advertisement mantra is getting people who don't use nicotine to start using. Saying things like "I can now pop in a lucy nicotine and can relax at my desk while I'm stressed at work. You may realize how absolutely insane that seems if you have been u unbrainwashed from it.
Shame we can't see the documentary
What an angel.. thank you so much!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Is this only audio? I was really hoping to see all the people in the video. I'm listening to the bootcamp audiobook and watching other people would be very inspiring for me.
I read Allen Carr's book about 13 yrs ago , lots of useless points . Quitting smoking is basically just defamiliarizing yourself from why it is you think you smoke. Great book.
Needless to say I quit smoking in summer 2006 and have not have one puff of a cigerette since ! :-)
Bit late but very good point. His book basically goes through every reason one may smoke
I quit with this! It was easy. But I got so upset after 3 month,I forgot what he kept telling us.Dont pick 1 up!! Cuz u think it was easy. Its hard again, not as easy.
People who say it didn't work for them didnt get it or understand because once you know you know and the desire goes altogether..if your addicted to nicotine read the book.i recommend read snd dont listen on audio because i feel self help books are better resd
GOD BLESS THIS MAN!!
W ere is the pictures
When NRT companies talk about success in quitting, they are talking about quitting cigarettes not nicotine. What's the point in quitting smoking if instead your just buying expensive and horrible tasting losenges for the rest of your life. NRT company's are just rival drug dealers
What is the difference between and master and a rookie. The master has failed more times than the rookie can even imagine trying, sir Allen Carr was a real master a master of how to stop smoking, something that is easier said than done for years , The so called health proffesional don't have a clue other than selling quick fixes such as nicotine continuations such as Nicorette and the latest hype vaper pens any way to sell you drugs without addressing the real issues phycological and physical rest in peace again mr Carr....
Cass Caro so true about the vaping... is just prolonging the nicotine addiction.... those who try to vape on zero nicotine as a smoker still have the nicotine urge....
markalejandrox welp at least it won’t give them emphysema so…
Rip good Sir.
4th day respectfully I will follow your heart
Nearly 2 weeks without a cig thanks to Allen’s book. He points out that the reason people smoke is to feel for a short time, how non smokers feel all the time. It all seems so pointless.
That is great to hear and thanks for sharing. We hope this will help encourage others to freedom
I wish the photos changed maybe a bit.
of course there is a conspiracy, follow the money. Allen Carr was a genius.
I wonder if people used this for other addictions
Take a look at www.allencarr.com Tom. Everyone at Allen Carr's Easyway is working tirelessly to ensure his legacy achieves its full potential :-) Best wishes John at Allen Carr
🙏🏻💕💕💕
“Popped my clogs”?!
I read his book but haven’t quit. Anyone else? I need tips. Should I read again or go to seminar? Halp.
I was trying to read the book for three years. In fact, I did not want to quit smoking 100%. That is why I quit reading instead. Then I started to feel very bad because of smoking (headaches, coughing nonstop) and I was pissed off and really decided and wanted to stop, so I red a book, slowly and thoroughly, and I stopped easily. I did not smoke for 8 months without any desire for it and felt great. Then I smoked a cigarette with my friend when his father died. Next day I smoked 3, next 7, then 12, and I started again. For what is worse, I had not have any urge to lit that first one. Now I am reading again. I wish you a luck. Greetings from Belgrade.
@@vladavasiljev bless your efforts
Please read it again, sometimes we are nervous and stressed the first time and we miss a lot of important points because of that (or even subtle ones that might make all the difference). I read it 3 times 14 years ago and quit a 15 year/pack a day addiction. I have not touched a cigarette since and have had zero desire- I’d just as soon eat a skunk sandwich!!! It still gives me butterflies in my stomach when I think of the prison I was freed from. Praise God for the blessing of Allen Carr.
@instantclassic Three Points.
Firstly, do you enjoy reading, or are you more of an AV guy? If you're more comfortable with AV, then maybe you can listen to the 4 Day Quit Smoking Bootcamp audiobook on Audible. Listening is great because you can keep rewinding and relistening to certain phrases or explanations.
Secondly, I would say Take your Time. Allow the messages in the books to really get engrained into your psyche. All the points given in the book are designed to help you slowly get rid of all the excuses/reasons one uses to smoke. They makes you realize that you don't have to live in fear or dread of the addiction.
Thirdly, make the decision to quit smoking a positive one. Don't do it in fear or anger, sadness, frustration or even pride. If there were certain phrases or sentences that really made an impact on you, write them on your phone or a paper that you can carry. Also, write down the reasons why you want to quit. If you get the urge to smoke, go back and read all these points. Smile and say, "Yay!! I'm a Nonsmoker! I'm Free!!!"
Hope these help.
What if you have gone through the book and some time in, get the desire to smoke, should you start smoking again in order to teach yourself a lesson and by following the instructions of the book by smoking whilst reading it? That way at least you aren’t stressed out when reading it?
Anyone have any tips for me to quit or good documentaries to watch 😔
I've read easy way 5 times years ago. And attended a Allen Carr clinic bout 12 years ago. I'm still a nicotine addict .not smoked for 7 years. But use nrt. Inhalator. Better than vaping. Vaping is terrible.

You are still in the trap.
Try to free yourself of that as well . I have 2 sisters who stopped with Allen's book years ago and they done without any replacement therapy ,they read the book a few times , They don't even think about smoking all these years later . I also have another sister thats quit and she's is struggling every day although she's been quit 2 years from cigarettes she's using nicotine replacement therapy daily. Like the other comment says , you're still in the nicotine trap .
What if you smoke pot as well. Would that interfere?
Hi, whether you just want to stop smoking cigarettes or want to stop using cannabis/marijuana as well - if you mix cannabis/marijuana with tobacco, ‘first base’ is to stop doing so. Some helpful tips are here www.allencarr.com/drug-addiction-help/how-to-stop-taking-cannabis-marijuana/best-ways/ or visit the website and talk to a consultant for more help
Will this work for smoking marijuana?
It says in the book you can use it for almost any addiction. But as a former weed smoker myself I d say you should nt need it. Weed s a disgusting drug. Not good for mental health smells a ton. Makes you lazy. Separates you from real life and costs a bomb. Being clear headed beats the cloudiness of being doped up anyday.
@@craig7715 I agree with everything you said but I still can't seem to quit.
@@spiritualaesthetic I'm a heavy weed smoker, been a week now since I smoked.the first 3 days I had crazy dreams and mood swings but how I deal with the craving is, I think about what it has done for me the last past years, nothing.. sometimes you have to weigh out the advantages and disadvantages the plant brought you,,at the end of the day it was more disadvantages,,so I laid off it for now.and plus I feel good having a clear head... let's see what the universe brings me... hopefully this comment helped..wish you peace and harmony..
