Tony looking good at his age
Great tips. proper form and squeezing the working muscle is key.
Alot of knowledge here fellas. My dad taught be about Tony Atlas and working out with just his hands and resistance when I was just a little kid and didn't even know who he was.
Alot of people don't realize how much knowledge goes into bodybuilding.
Tony made me a subscriber. 😊
excellent interview, first time I have ever heard Tony talk about diet and training to this extent, really great stuff, I have subscribed to the channel!
That is the exact way the weight room was when i played high school football, except we had to do atleast 8 reps, everybody had to max out once a month
The interviewer isn't ACTIVELY listening to him. He's just, "mhmm, yep, ok, gotcha."
Legend 💪🏾
“…Yeah. Ok. Gotcha. *head nod*”
I didn't think Slim Shady was that interested in weightlifting.
As good as anyone putting info out online
Mr. Tony Atlas. My hat off to you Sr. Wow it has been a long, long time since I heard about you. I remember back in the days 35/40 years ago I basecly wanted to be just like you. Work out, but that was not me. I admire you for so long. Congrats for your hard work through the years. Great accomplishment you have gained. Again, my hat off to you Sr. Thank you.
At the 8:48 mark I thought Tony said Lee Haney took 5 or 6 suckas! Love the guy, very detailed!
Two sets of five reps with over 500lbs for bench press????!!

The black Atlas.
Kid isn’t even listening. He probably figures “I’ll just go back to it later”
💪🏿💪🏿💯💯
What’s tony been up to? After he was on wwf I lost track of his
Tony, do you remember a North Carolina man named Whitey Edwards? He said he was a bad motherfucker and you ran with him. He used to hit people with a playmate cooler and drink Milwaukee Best Light until he dropped kicked porcelain toilets in rented apartments.
Why didn't you enter the Mr. Olympia and challenge Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno ?
T-Bar rows. My favorite back exercise. Do it till u puke
@Chuck Jones bite me Chick, you probably have never seen one.
@Chuck Jones sure they are
“ 🧠 “ 💪🏾
Why do you look so surprised?
The strongest I’ve ever been, which is nothing impressive, was repping 275lbs for 12. I weighed 170 at 6 ‘ at the time.
I would start with just 45s then add 10s after each set. In between sets I would do 10 incline and 8 decline push-ups.
Used all the 10s in the gym but hey I worked out early so it didn’t bother anybody. Got me to hit 315 for 3. That’s what worked for me but I did use my shoulders too much after listening to the legend.
225lb became something I could rep 17-20 time with no rir. Going to give the old routine a try with a pencil.
Football was all about training light then heavy for double days. The rotate heavy to light
We used to do a hundred rep work out. We’d start with 135lbs, and then add 2 5lb plates and do as many as we could. We’d continue this until we hit 100 reps.
The steroids allow the incredible strength to do this reps at extreme weight so don't for a minute think Tony Atlas was natural because everyone that gets that massive takes high amounts of steroids and if you're lucky you'll live long but many are long gone.
No he’s natural he said
TEST ,DBALL, AND DECA LIKE THE REST
And amazing genetics
And busting ass in the gym 6 days a week for life
And being a natural man-ding-o!!💪
He looks excited tho whole time 🤣 👀 relax a bit my guy 💩
He still looks yoked
Don't forget the roid usage !?
