it's a very nice machine and it's easy to work with it . On my farm in Denmark I have a Kuhn Primore and it's chops straw very easy and throw it far away
We have a kidd tub grinder and we also have a Kuhn primore that is basically the same machine in the video. Both work good. The machine like you are looking at work well for bedding barns and chopping feed but doesn't get it quite as fine cut as a tub grinder will. Only problem with them is they tie up 2 machines for bedding instead of 1.
I just got a haybuster and completely love the thing. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. It will take less time for your tmr to mix also. They use the hay better. Mine also has a chain drive and it works good. You can drive along the bunk with this one and shoot it into. I will do a video.
I owned a Lucas one time it was longer it would carry two bales in the body and a third on the tailboard if needed great machine i only sold it on because i got out of stock
My boss has a Robert it's a similar and it works very good we put a extended hitch on it so it's easy to Back up since the one we have is very short and compact
Kidd farm machinery is well known here in the UK as an outfit that builds tough reliable equipment mainly for the grassland and livestock sector. I have no expereince of this piece of equipment but others of similar design seem to work well for both shredding bedding and processing silage and hay As I understand it, as well as producing its own equipment, it also manufacturers TMR mixers for one of Europe's biggest farm equipment manufacturers ( Kverneland Group). Serious competitors here would be McHale who have similar machines and dealers in the USA see: www.mchale.net Hope this helps, Dan
Yes sir it is, I waited a couple weeks for a pin for my Vermeer bale processor , went ahead and repaired old pin myself and it's still holding so put the new one on the shelf for now.
Those colors make it look like a playground

Definitely check on parts availability before you buy it.
don't have one but like anything just make sure of parts availability like knives etc
Northern farmer has videos of his bail ginder.
no adjustment on the cut look at tub grinders
It would definately save you time and wear and tear on other machinery.....
David Goethe more like wear and tear on me. I do it all by hand right now. thanks for the comment have a great evening

It is not made in America so if there isn't lots around in your area I wouldn't buy it, it's hard enough to get parts on stuff made in North America
