  • Many people feel bogged down by stress and can feel the physical impact of stress on their body. Seeing an acupuncturist, such as Lacey Hrtanek at Finish Line Wellness, can be a great way to restore the balance and stability needed to live a healthy, active lifestyle .
    Here you will see Lacey working on one of the chiropractors in her office who receives chiropractic adjustments as well as acupuncture therapy. Acupuncture stimulates powerful points on the body that can balance your body from within and allow it to heal. Thousands of years of clinical experience using more than 400 points on the body have shown the effectiveness of this healing modality. Whether they work through increasing circulation, stimulating nerves, or releasing endorphin’s remains to be seen, but the centuries of experience have shown how powerful acupuncture is for healing the body naturally.
    To reach Lacey or any members of the Finish Line team, you can email at lacey@finishlinewellness.com or give them a call at 952-746-4162.
    This video may also give you a sensation referred to as AMSR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. ASMR is a phenomenon that uses tingle triggers to initiate a tingling sensation that can be described as brain tingles, head tingles, spine tingle, brain massage and even brain orgasm or head orgasm. There are many types of intentional ASMR including, but not limited to, soft spoken ASMR, whisper ASMR, gentile whisper ASMR, role playing ASMR. Unintentional ASMR is also popular, with categories like medical ASMR, chiropractic ASMR, massage ASMR, salon ASMR, shave ASMR, head massage ASMR, clinical ASMR, scalp massage ASMR, painting ASMR, cooking ASMR, eye exam ASMR, and instructional video ASMR.

    Absolutely lovey when it comes to ASMR. However, her sterilizing techniques leave a lot to be desired:
    She’s not wearing gloves.
    She merely dabs the area with the tiniest corner of a disinfectant swab.
    Then she TOUCHES that same area with her finger before inserting the needle (if she even hits the same area at all)

      The needles are sterile and disposable. They come sealed in a packet, we use them ONCE, and then send them to be incinerated like all medical waste.

    • @mbzeppa
      @mbzeppa 7 років тому +74

      Sure the needles are sterile, but what about the skin? A person that wanders around downtown before the treatment or takes mass transportation is going to be exposed to all sorts of lovely pathogens. Without an alcohol scrub how are you certain you're keeping everything safe?

      Get to know your practitioner well and talk to them. Even if you’re afraid of needles if you know your practitioner is competent you will trust them and that takes away a lot of fear. Plus it helps to know that acupuncture needles don’t hurt. They’re as thin as a hair. Finally when they do a treatment and are putting in the needles keep your eyes closed. If you look it makes it worse until you realize there’s nothing to be afraid of. I recently had acupuncture and it worked very well. Good luck.
