These are great knives year-round. I try to carry other knives in my pocket, but nothing sits unobtrusive and barely noticeable like the bugout. It's a sweet-spot between ease of carry, ergonomics, and build/QC. I love the Para 3. The lightweight Para 3 are my favorite because of the grip of the frn scales.
Great content!! 🙌. For me, living in South Texas I like to go with an Asher Knife "Spiro" in s90v with carbon fiber scales. Super thin blade and is just as light to carry.
My summer lightweight and halfway corrosion-resistant EDC rotation: QSP Penguin carbon & black coated D2, Ruike P801 all steel blackwash with 12C28N, Sanrenmu 9002 tanto steel/G10 with 12C27N , Miki D2 Japanese tanto flipper, Ganzo G768 blackout with G10 & D2. I don't like Micarta when I sweat, the same with leather straps on my watches in summer.
I’ve been switching between a carbon fiber north arm skaha 2 in magnacut and a quiet carry drift. Thin blade stock on both, great corrosion resistance, both are very easy to carry in athletic shorts. The skaha 2 has really blown me away though
GPKnives just had Rex 45 Manix 2 LW for $106, HAD to snag that ( plan for OG scales but it’s light right now, lol). But my favorite “shorts” knife has been Pyrite Light, $29.99 on Amazon and it’s a total Bugout killer!!
I am goi g to buy the Spiderco Parra 3, the Benchmade Bugout and the Microtech Trodon. But they are all expensives. I am going to take a quarter for buy them ..!
I waited 2 months to get my hands on the Manix 2 G10 over $200 only to discover that the lock was defective I returned that same day and received the refund. I had already purchased Endurance Edella Warned Cliff and RockJumpre with back in FRN scales and change the factory clips for Titanium I even learned how to open and unlock with one hand . And this also tells me that Spyderco has gotten so big they have no quality control and will never buy another Spyderco ohh No 😮
