How to make your mouse even better! (for osu! and other games)
#raito #osu #mouse - Ігри
EDIT: Yes the G305 is a super good option for wireless that I forgot about and it would be about the same price to go with that vs doing what I did but 1) it needs batteries so you have to keep swapping those out every long while and 2) if you already own a really good mouse that you like, this is cheaper.
One thing that I forgot to mention in the video that's semi important is that if you want to be 100% sure before doing this, I would do a quick google check to see how other people have taken apart your specific mouse. I've done the paracord mod for a few friends, but each mouse was very different to take apart.
Also, the hyperglides come in a 2 pack. You get a spare if they ever wear out down the line :)
Rather than buying the G203 and doing the mods, which would void your warranty, why not just buy the G305? It has the same body and it is wireless with long battery life. And get a hard mousepad to go with it for maximum glideness.
It's 60USD for the G305 with warranty vs 24+25=49USD for the modded wired G203 without warranty.
Yea the G305 is a viable option. I just forgot about it when making this video lol
for people with doubts about the battery life of g305/304, they mean it when they say 'every now and then'
personally using an AA lithium energizer for the past 6 months, averaging daily usage of 2 hours with performance mode at all times, the logitech software has the battery indicator at 5/5 to date. actually insane
G700s? I have that one, expensive as fuck...
@@uwaa4467 ye man ive been having the g304 and i use dry cell batteries that came in a pack of 4 and they cost less than a dollar. They last you a couple of months
Your cursor size is bigger than my future
Or my... :D
@lilliputti 21 omfg so true
@CrazedZack lol
idk wut thats mean but its kinda of funny
The few rubber parts on the paracord is where you have to hover a small flame over, it's there so when you slot your paracord into the right position with both ends being in the right positions with the paracord should be able to sit snugly into the mouse
Yes! I ended up doing this and removing the sticky tack. I just did the have a lighter on me.
Thanks for the Hyperglides tip!!
My tablet is now a mice
Really interesting! As a mouse player this guide taught me new stuff about my mouse, im not really going to do this since I already have a good feel with my mouse, I dont actually feel any mouse drift anyway, thanks for this vid!!
I'd say it does more than just help with mouse drift though. It makes your mouse feel almost weightless if you really like lighter stuff! But if you're perfectly fine with your mouse then that's great!
@@Raitosu My mouse is already really really light, (80g), wonder what would happen if I tried this, does this work exactly the same for a Razer mouse? (Pleb mouse i know) or do I have to figure some stuff out?
Yea, my mouse is also about 80-85g. It just makes the overall experience smoother and it feels a lot better. This works on everything but you're going to have to research how to take your mouse apart or just what new mouse feet to buy. The websites linked should give you more info for that
@@Raitosu Thanks dude!
So I started playing osu with a mouse like every ordinary newbie on osu, played for 5 months, felt like quitting and destroying my PC, oh well I got a tablet and played for around a year more, then, when i was at my peak, i started declining ranks quickly, was very very uncomfortable with my grip and yes I've tried thousands of grips, non of them worked. I quit, supposedly, for around 6 months. I came back since I was bored and had nothing to do, I remembered I broke my tablet and pen in half of rage, so I came back to my old, GM01 Logitech akantha mouse, worn off and all, not even a mousepad, and.. I improved with stamina, speed, aim, accuracy, and just played for fun. Just a few days ago I ordered myself a Logitech G203 mouse and now I'm waiting for it :)
I'm sorry if you had to read that long comment, also this might get lost down here who knows, thanks anyway :)
I read all comments ;)
Enjoy your new mouse coming soon!
@@Raitosu thank uwu
It looks like you have the same type of mouse, could I ask how it feels? As in terms of size, smoothness and body of the mouse itself?
It is the same mouse haha. This is my favorite mouse so far. I think it's perfect for my claw/fingertip grip. I also have relatively smaller hands so I don't feel feel cramped or anything. Definitely I can play for hours on end with it, but it will vary from person to person. I know that one complaint for this mouse is that the sides aren't flat but kinda round in towards the bottom. I personally like it because it helps with my grip though.
@@Raitosu thanks a lot! I'm happy to know I didn't order something expensive just to use it for a week and not liking it. I typically use the claw grip, so it's also very good to know! Again, thanks!
This deserves a sub
Great video, really helpful
damn, looks pretty nice...
also the pokemon black/white ost was amazing.
It took me some seconds to realize that
subbed because this video was very informational and entertaining, im also a nerd when in comes to mice and keyboards lol
Glad you enjoyed!
Do you get less mouse drift this way? Great video!
Thanks! I wouldn't say it really eliminates mouse drift because that's cause by angling the mouse, but I do find that adjusting the mouse is a lot easier and that mouse drift wasn't as bad as before because the cable doesn't tug on the mouse as much anymore
@@Raitosu Sound pretty good! I never realized you could mod your mouse like this and I will be buying both these items to add to my Zowie FK1, going to be sweet
@@Raitosu So you think mouse drift is caused by mouse angle?
Has that always been the case for mice?
Controller players: 😡
Imagine playing osu with mouse
I play osu! only using a mouse, with high friction, on a crappy surface (I play on my bed, 'cuz I have no desks to put my laptop on), and somehow get an S in Rameses B - Flåklypa (Hard) with Hidden and Sudden Death mods and no miss.
@@lolxdroflmao431 wow you did a 3*. noone cares lol.
@@lolxdroflmao431 bruh i was in africa and played on sand while doing an 9* map and got an SS with Hidden and flashlight and had a cactus as a bed. Get on my level
i play with mouse for skips and etc and i use keyboard for streams,i are in top 2000
@@r_se ye but I'm new to the game. I started to play it 6 days ago. I knew someone would say that they don't care but I'm just saying it tho (I'm also not being arrogant too tho). I spent hours trying to no-miss that beatmap. 9* beatmaps are a no to me.
That's a really nice video thank you so much for all the informations
Great tips 👍thx for it
hyperglide is a must for me because I had the mouse for 3yrs now and I have no friction also the cable seems fine for me so I'll keep that default
Love the “Pokémon” music
I only clicked this video to flex my Logitech g pro wireless
Kswag same except different mouse
where your hyperglides?
@@sorpfn Soon... soon.. hopefully
Same
Kswag lol hows that double click treating you? I loved my gpw and now its double clicking a shit ton
oh man your voice is really relaxing and beautiful, thanks for the video #NoHomo
Please come back, we love you and we want more of your intelligence. I miss the old "Hey it's Raito here"...
;)
Is that elmer sticky tack that you use for the Wire stopper
Even though I'm perfectly fine with my mouse, I still thought this was interesting to watch.
paracorded my g502 a while back but managed to lose one of the springs that holds the mousewheel up while putting it back together, now the mousewheel is clicking like crazy and I have to disable it in G hub if I ever wanna use it, so if anyone is paracording a g502, careful not to lose the springs!
cool im going to mod my g102 as well!
do u feel like u have more control/precision with hyperglide mousefeet as opposed to the original ones? like are u able to play hard rock fine?
are there hyperglides for corsair harpoon mouse?
What are you using your keyboard for in osu!?
I feel your voice a bit similar to Davie504’s voice. Nice video, first video I watch of you and I am now subscribed.
Are there any benefits on having a bigger cursor?
im getting a g203, does it double click alot tho? cuz most people say that. also is a hard mousepad beter than a cloth mousepad?
I play on the keyboard and mouse that came together with my Acer PC
Also razer sphex v2 or other plastic pad give even less friction.
What up with the hero sensor in the g203? You use gpro pcb?
What is that Map. I think i've heard this song before...
Yo, I really like your white mouse! It's that an g203 prodigy aswell?
Yes technically. It's actually a G Pro wired inside a G203 shell because the G Pro doesn't come in white. But in my experience, they're basically the same. I think the G Pro feels a little snappier, but that's probably placebo.
@@Raitosu The G pro has a much better sensor, thats why
It's basically the same sensor. I know the Mercury and hero sensor are different, but honestly, unless you're comparing it side by side, it's still really hard to tell
@@Raitosu They're both amazing sensors but having owned both, it's pretty clear how much more consistent the hero sensor is. But like you said, I only noticed because I compared them side by side. Great vid btw 👍
Yea, I would put the Mercury as a 95% hero. If you're looking for a budget mouse, you won't get a better price to performance than the G203
my aim shake when use tablet so i throw my tablet and start using mouse again
Sick
Why tf do I find this now that I'm finally getting a tablet after 1,5yrs w a mouse
what mousepad u use
Raito lookin likea SNackkk
you looks and sounds so much like our music teacher wtf
The G305 Wireless has the HERO sensor with 3 months real-use battery life. Check it out. Also, I'm pretty sure all of Logitech Gaming series has the PTFE feet already installed.
G305 Amazon France delivered to the UK £26.48 at the time of writing: www.amazon.fr/dp/B07CGPZ3ZQ
It's on a deal atm.
Logitech Gaming series does NOT have PTFE feet. True PTFE plastic is white and only white. When you put on hyperglides, they will feel a world's difference :)
@@Raitosu With all due respect, please do some research.
Virgin PTFE is white, yes, but it can also be mixed with glass, bronze, or Carbon (hence black colour) for various purposes and applications.
www.trentplastics.co.uk/engineering-plastics/ptfe-rod-sheet
Now I would imagine Logitech to want their products uniformly in one colour, hence the black PTFE-Carbon composite. The Carbon also helps with wear and tear, so that it lasts longer than the Virgin PTFE. The skates are thick at least in my G700s, and it has lasted me years to-date.
As for the coefficient of friction, Virgin has about 0.04 while Carbon has 0.08, twice as much. You are correct when you say 'Hyperglides' are smoother, but you are incorrect when you say Logitech Gaming mouse doesn't have PTFE feet. They do. Just in Black. Logitech even says in their spec sheet.
cncplastics.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Carbon-Graphite-Filled-PTFE-Data-Sheet.pdf
Edit: Whether the ~0.04 reduction if CoF is worth it is entirely up to you. I personally feel that changing to a hard mousepad makes a bigger difference. Or even put your cloth mousepad on a hard surface, or heck, even try cleaning it first. They do get dirty, you know?
DAMN that code thing aww man i wish i had that my cord is extra stiff to
I have a question and hopefully someone in the comment section can answer. I have hyperx pulsefire core and I don't like its cord. I also have a spear cord which has four black, green, red and white cables, but its missing the fifth pin/cable. Pretty sure that pulsefire core has 5 pin connector, not certain because I have never opened it. Can someone guarantee me that if I do indeed open up my mouse that 4 pin connector will go in to 5pin and still work? If I didn't make myself clear you more than welcome to ask me to clarify. Thank you in advance.
whats the name of this cable?
Does your white g203 make any noise when you squeeze it on its sides? After paracording mine and adding hyperglides, I noticed that it makes a squeaking noise when I squeeze on the sides.
Not at all. I just squeezed it right now before this comment
my mouse skates and the edge where the mouse skate holds in place are after a long time of use gone, so the bottom is completely flat. do you think putting some random mouse skate would work? or similar in shape (I have an office mouse so there are no skates that are designed for that mouse)(yes I'm broke lol)
I dont see why it wouldn't. You could probably put any shape then
I use the g series mouse you put in the into
Nice
this is austin's friend twin
i just cut of the plastic slippy pads on my mouse and it worked great!
I used to do that but it ended up ruining the bottom of my mouse without any feet
@@Raitosu i dont ruin the bottom of my mouse, it just got dirty easier and when its dirty it feels off
Damn.. that hyperglide costs 4 times my mouse price
GOOD!!!!!
What mouse is that?
Opening up a mouse like this scares me.
Yea I have a steelseries sensei which already has a braided cable like this, and the thickness of the cable reduces motion, and it gets in the way. Any other tips to help my mouse mobility?
Paracording is definitely the best option. I had a sensei raw too and that cable sucked
@@Raitosu alright.
I have g402 ... Is it good tho
Can I buy wireless Paracord?
good mouse
I just bought a G102
I got the g502 hero
The new Glorious Model O mouse is most likely going to be a final mouse killer you should have a look at it (much cheaper than final mouse)
He also mentioned it at the end of the video himself ^^
@@DelixYT88 Ahh I didn't watch after the osu gameplay haha
What kind of paracord did you use?
Is it 4/5 mm diameter of paracord itself?
The one I bought at the store was the only parachute cable they had. I think it was roughly 4/5mm as it fits in my mouse bungee just fine. The bought I bought from the paraflex website is about the same size.
how can i get that thing in some store 4:49
You forgot to use a lighter or hairdryer on the heat shrink thingy
I did later but sorta fucked up. You can see it on the thumbnail
When my $6 mouse comes with a braided cable: 😎
You should probably debraid it. Had one of those and while it looked the part, it was terrible in usage.
What osu skin is that?
I like you Boku no hero poster
you forgot to shrink the heat shrink
I ended up doing that later. You can kinda see it in the thumbnail
i first thought that u was funorange
Can you recommend any alternatives for hyperglides? They don't have any for the g502 :(
You can either check out corepad skates or just buy any hyperglides and stick them on
@@Raitosu Nice, just got a set of corepad, hopefully they are as good as the ones in the video!
@@EniKClan According to other people online, they pretty much feel the same. It's just the same plastic.
Is that God's mouse
How do you do fix the pins cuz i accidentally cut mine off
The connection pins on the white thing that connects. To the board
you look like that guy on austin evans
whatever the mouse is
g102 is best
if you need space, buy g304
Mouse friction is the most major cause of losing in shooting games.
How much dpi do you recommend I usually use 1000-1300 dpi
800 or 1600
What mouse did he say he had
my mouse is very slippery, and its very slow when I use mouse pad, I wanna die.
Yo i have the same mouse you have
Why does he look like ken bolido from evans
This does work with the g502 right
Yea, my brother has a G502 that I paracorded
dpi and sensitivity
what is that game
Does your mouse lose tracking and stutter with hyperglides, mine is the G Pro and it stutters like crazy with hyperglides on
Really? My mouse tracks perfectly fine and it's a G Pro wired. I know I said G203 but you can see when I take it apart it has the hero 16k sensor inside
Is it just me or is he a skinnier version of ProZD
you could pick up a Logitech g305 from Amazon for like 40 bucks and from my experience its been a really solid mouse
I'll be honest, I forgot about the g305 :P but you could always benefit from some hyperglides
what map or song is that
Driftveil city theme. I played it with DT
Hey Raito long time no see hope you're doing well : )
Doing good my guy :)
I’ve used pro intellimouse with para cable but its too flexible ....
The cable sometimes stuck between the mouse and mousepads in low sensitivity settings....
Get a bigger mousepad? Because I've never had this problem before
raito I’ve already had.
When I flick my mouse, the para cable moves next to my mouse and then stuck between mouse and pads....
How to make my hand even better?
you look like the japanese guy who make video with Austin Even
Still no video of getting better at OSU D:
bro can u help meeee, i can't download Logitech G HUB (logitech software) for my G502 Lightspeed wireless, i can't customize it :(
Try the old Logitech Gaming Software instead
I thought u paracorded the wireless G305 😂😂
wew
but the latency effect the improvement, right?
Same latency. It's wired so as good as your gonna get
There are no hyper glides for g502 from what I've seen,
You can get any hyperglides and it will work. Otherwise if you want exact fit, check our corepads
Do the hyperglides help with aim
Not really. It just makes aiming feel better
@@Raitosu ok thanks
I broke my pen so I have to use mouse
