Johnny Ball - Teenage Maths for Life Workshop - 21st March 2014

Johnny Ball wowed audiences at the Newbubbles Further Education Conference 2014 in Guildford with his ingenious ways of bringing maths to life. Possibly the best maths educator the UK has ever seen and we should have much more of Johnny.

This man is just as entertaining and informative and interesting as I remember him as I was growing up. I find numbers so easy in my adult life and I know it's because Johnny ball grabbed my attention early on in life. I wish he was still on screen with another 'Think again' series. He's mint!! Come back Johnny!!!!!

Johnny has "always" had a special aptitude for making maths really interesting. I always hated maths at school because it was so fucking boring but I'd sit mesmerized by Johnny after school because he made maths so much fun as well as entertaining.

Ha ha that puzzle is amazing. I couldn’t work out why I was getting 5,000. Johnny Ball is a genius and make maths interesting for me as a kid.
