The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.
What actions were undertaken that resulted in a breach of national security? Should your innocence be established, a prominent national law firm (i.e., Morgan and Morgan) is prepared to initiate litigation against the Department of Defense and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for such violations. Following resolution of the primary federal lawsuit, consideration will be given to pursuing individual legal actions against each participant implicated in the infringement of your rights, including petitioning for the disqualification of any federal judge found in violation of these rights.

Great reporting, George!👍 I sure hope he gets his property back. And compensation for the damages-
That won’t happen- maybe his property, but definitely not gonna get compensated for damaging his house. They don’t care about actual human beings.
I hope he does more reporting/covering how people are. being intimidated for unnecessary search and seizures. He and his girlfriend are not the only ones and won't be the last. More coverage, please.
Typical gestapo tactics.

If it was a valid warrant it should have clearly stated what criminal violation was being investigated. It doesn't sound like that was included, or it may have been redacted. I don't see how the warrant could be considered valid without that being made clear to the property owner.
it feels very wrong that they can do this to you and redact everything even to you and your lawyers
once an action like this takes place, they should be required to release the information
Im truly concerned about the direction this country has taken in the last several decades and its only ramping up exponentially

Overreach by the govt. absolutely outrageous.
The people that order this don’t really see them as part of the government. That’s what it looks like on paper. But they are part of an organization that sees themselves above the national laws of the world.
They served a warrant and said he was a fugitive, yet no charges were filed. That sounds like a fake excuse to gain entrance to steal his electronics .
Find that federal judge that signed off for that terrorism.
When you fear integrity and accountability, you are no longer the good guys.

That's crazy how they don't have to give you the whole warrant. Furthermore , you are supposed to be able to face your accuser. If they don't tell you what you're accused of it should not be able to stand at all. Period.

Did the same with Bob Lazar.
Knapp either didn't investigate them or he lied which has enabled both to con others. This should be illegal for anyone but journalists should be held even more responsible IMO.

"Reasons of National Security"... the standard U.S. Government cop out.
The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.

Let's talk to the judge, on the warrant.
You really have to wonder if the judge was allowed to read the warrant before he signed it. Really.
To correct the unecessary Google/UA-cam blue box, the official name is Edwards Air Force Base North. Are 51 is a large rectangle of land once used for nuclear bomb tests. In the Eastern quarter, there is the Groom Lake air base, where experimental aircraft are assembled and tested.
WHAT AREyou talking about area 51 is on NNSS. That is all there needs to be said about ti. they never tested nuclear bombs at area 51, they did at area 6-12 but never 51 where they have always had a base.

They will never explain why or what they were looking for. Essentially if you were to say X or Y document, you would be confirming or putting a spotlight on that very thing. Some of it is understandable (the non-information) but I do think the damage done should be paid for by the government if no charges are presented. Based on what was said, nothing illegal had taken place, he was on public land, he did not cross the line, so unless there is information we are missing, that money should be owed to him.
Since when can the Air Force execute warrants vs civilians within the borders of the US?
he needs to sue and get 20x the money he spent!
Sueing the government is like the hens calling the wolf to protect them. The wolf can't help it, it's in the wolf's nature to eat the hens.
All he has to do is re write all his losses and research that's why never keep your research at a linkable place keep all your backups there in a faraday box.
He also needs security cameras, a backup plan if raided, and possibly a second location where he can relocate.

Well you found something for sure that they didn't want anyone to see. More than likely it wasn't anything obvious but something that if seen by the wrong people would put 2 and 2 together to make 4.
That's what people in the Soviet Union thought about their neighbors when they were hauled away in the middle of the night to a secret trial followed by execution or imprisonment. "They must have done something wrong".
OP didnt say 'he did something wrong' - just that he stumbled onto and published something that was both true and dangerous to the government, quite possibly without realising its importance.
So they could just “say” that everything he owns is related and just take it all?

The website Joerg runs includes alot of pictures, and discussion from individuals who work on projects related to area 51. Those individuals are sworn to secrecy but then get on websites and social media to show pictures and chat about things that are supposed to be private. My assumption is the raids were not directly about him and his girlfriend directly, but the military was trying to figure out which current and past employees are sharing things they should not be. And probably trying to spook members of the military that are on those websites.
