This was a very fun video to watch, this isn't easy, you can get shot before you even start attacking the enemy,If I was in this video I'd probably just stick to like not go to the offensive way,I would rather stay back a bit and just shoot the enemy soldiers from far away, anyways, amazing video, keep up with this good work.
Nice I’ve been watching your vids since the beginning and I loved the roblox napoleonic wars stuff I’m in 2e regiment d’isembourg The arena part was hilarious
Just some history... If both sides didn't move for months, one side would dig a tunnel all the way underneath the enemy trench plant explosives, then explode their trench leaving a huge crater and leaving many dead then a few minutes later they will then charge and take it.
Oh that would be cool with we had bombs that can be planted the enemy’s would know not tunneling would happen unless they hear which is not likely I always dig deep down
Your probably asking what's it like to go to war in roblox with scot well its very much chaos and destruction and madness I went through shell shock of experience
If you haven't seen the movie all quiet on the western front or you have movie is based off the germans against french alliance main character is paul if some of you people already seen the movie tell me what was your favorite part of the movie
I think it‘s missing some key elements the original 1930s American film had, for example, when he is on leave he is invited into a pub (Wirtshaus) by the teacher having pressured him into joining the army, the teacher and his older friends, never having seen real combat, start discussing over what the military leaders should do to break the stalemate and take Paris. Paul meanwhile is disgusted at them so lightheartedly sending men to their deaths and just leaves. Another one is when, again he is on leave, the civilians tell him they barely have any food left, but they are okay with being hungry, so that their soldiers receive bigger rations, but Paul saw how the soldiers on the front got almost no supplies, being told it all was for the civilians back home. You can really see how the government lied to both sides to keep the morale intact. There also is a scene, in which a fr*nch soldier grabbed a string of barbed wire and gets blown to pieces by artillery all that‘s left are his hands still grippiger the wire, this scene actually was inspired by a member of the cast, all former soldiers, who had seen this happen in reality. The Movie also skips the training of the new recruits (yes, they were trained) that was really nicely portrayed in the 1979 version of the movie. The Trenches are too straight for this late in the war (they ought to be zig-zag to limit potential damage done by artillery and make it more difficult for the enemy to take the whole trench), as you can see in the scene with the Saint-Chamond-tanks (machine gun firing down length of the trench). Also the Saint-Chamond-tanks are shown to be shoved back a little by the recoil of the gun, this couldn‘t have been possible, as the version of the tanks shown in the scene are actually ones with a hydro-pneumatic recoil system, so this is historically completely inaccurate. Thank you for reading, I feel like nobody will ever get this far in the text, but well some people read novels, so maybe. Anyways have a great day.
We all know that ww1 was absolute hell the amount of drafts and the deaths were high itsblike losing half of the words population from a bloody wasteland with dead corpes of soldiers
I mean it's alot to explain thr old movie but theirs more information about the new one with Paul his friends had never been contacted in combat which costed their lifes
When are you going to play the Roblox game of MOW? BTW, ww1 wasn't just troops mindlessly charging though a km of land with barbed wire and craters. They were actual groups or companies which were commanded by officers, and these units would stay close together for communication and support. Actually, many reports said that taking the first enemy trench was extremely easy, but because of the lack of supplies they often had to retreat as enemy troops from supporting trenches would come to take them. It was very similar to Napoleonic tactics, just that you had separate units acting independently like light infantry troops, but still organised in one group When you make ww1 tabs videos, you can show this by just making certain groups with specific troops lead by an officer, then they charge together. It pretty easy to do so Also, cavalry was still effective during the great war, as they could cover 3 times the ground infantry could under a day, and were vital scout troops and artillery carriers. They were also the most heavily armed, as they had 2 machine guns for every 500 troops (meanwhile there was 2 machine guns for every 1000 British troops) I'd like to mention another point, that these close order tactics with independent units was highly effective and cavalry didn't completely die, as even then machine guns weren't always properly manned all the times. They could be used for flanking weak points, or more devastatingly, create havoc upon enemy supply lines These are ultimately the reasons why the German military wasn't the best, as it would have logistical mismanagement at a high rate. This is why Britain actually had the most modernised, proffesional and hardy troops along with her empire, till the very end of the second world war. Britain, was an absolute god when it came to administration and logistics compared to others Also, this myth of officers in the first world war still stuck with the old ways is just complete rubbish, as they were adapting to the changing surumstances
