Then we saw Del Amitri perform it live a month later. It became the wedding song. 11 years after first hearing it, we were divorced with a child. Funny thing is, like the song, regrets are hard to come by. That's life. We get along, even though no longer married. Our child is our focus now. This song is still meaningful.

I don't actually remember where I first heard this as I've never been a big watcher of Scrubs, I think maybe I either heard it when I had a music channel on while I was working or I caught the episode of Scrubs it featured in and looked it up. Either way, I don't get why people get upset when a band writes a song that gets used in a popular TV show and thus makes the band a lot of money along with many more people getting to enjoy their work lol
