What an absolutely phenomenal personal achievement. It was a beautiful, happy and emotional watch. Massive congratulations 👏 🙌 🎯

Thank you Mandy 😍
well done to you all on a fantastic day great achievements 👍
Thanks Paul 😊
Well done Freddy, thanks to share such an inspiring video! 🫶🏽
Thanks Fredy! I may have to spend the next few months convincing you to join us next year 😜
Well done Freddy, you smashed it! xx
Thank you Kate! 😊
What an incredbile weekend that was. Already making plans for next year when we'll make 75 in '25 happen!
Time to start back with the training 😊
Well done freddy and friends massive achievement.
Thanks Paul, we had such a blast
Well done Freddy! 👏👏👏. 75 miles next year is gonna need consistency for the next 12 months. No pushing hard on the speed… just go long and slow for 12 months. You will be even more awesome than now! Take care! You can’t afford an injury.
Thanks Alec, that’s the aim. I’ve not really trained specifically for it this year, so pretty happy to get 11 laps. Definitely wanting to focus more on it for 2025 though 😊
Good to see you’re still around 👍
@@freddyruns have had my own injury challenges in the last 8 months. I was too cavalier, and needed to rein in the fast stuff.
@@Alecmcq hope you’re doing better now mate
@@freddyruns certainly am… I am not quite back to where I was 10 months ago, but I am now going in the right direction. Take care!
Well done Freddy amazing effort and to the team 👏. The video was brilliant loved watching your journey from the start.respect ❤
Thank you😊
Brilliant effort Freddie. You're such an inspiration 💛
Thanks Rich, you coming next year? 😜
@@freddyruns 🤔 I have to say watching this has made me consider it. Looks tough but a great event
Congratulations to you all on your PBs!!! What a fantastic weekend! Scot is so right, the secret is to EAT! You've got me excited to sign up for my next ultra! What a fun looking event that was!
I swear you need to buy a plane ticket for next year! 😜✈️🏃♀️
Well done Freddy! It was such an absolutely brilliant weekend and everyone did amazing but this is what it's all about, having fun and supporting each other, and the community never disappoints. Can't wait to see what you do next year. More is definitely in you.
Fiona the machine! Absolutely phenomenal result for you Fiona, particularly as it was so close to you also smashing 100k at Reading!
Fiona, I'm curious what your strategy was. Do you mind sharing?
@@Pocket_Rob keep eating, keep drinking, keep moving. I'm not a fast runner but I am quite calculated. I don't go to out too fast and I'm strict with energy conservation. Don't over think it. doing it is the only way to get it done and it's your mind that will keep you going. I know that as long as I keep moving the numbers will stack up. Don't think in miles/km. Only think about starting the next lap. If you start it, you'll probably finish it. I took a nap when it got light. About 40 mins seems to be ideal. It refreshes you but you don't get into a deeper sleep that's harder to get up from and it's easier to get up in the light than if it's still dark. Get ready to start your next lap before you get food/have a nap so you can get up and go. Don't take your shoes off!
@@Pocket_Robit's also worth saying that I absolutely love these events and my main aim is to experience it as fully as possible. Although I had distances in mind that I thought I could do, my main aim is to keep going for the full 24hrs and I think that naturally produces a slightly different approach.
It was great to meet you out on the route Freddy! Top chap! All the best 😁
Thank you! Will you be back in ‘25? 😊
@@freddyruns After much healing - I'm yet to decide.
Well done Freddy, I was lucky enough to catch up with you on loop. Amazing effort by all runners and a great weekend. Just had a confirmation email for 2025. Hope you see you back out there, keep up the great vlogs
Thanks Andrew! I didn’t get a place in the ballot this year!!……. I did jump in quickly though and scoop up a charity place 😊
Well done and an amazing achievement. All of you were fantastic and it was nice to bump into you and share a few miles too! Hope we all get to do it again next year. Lovely video. Keep fit and well!
Thanks Alan, was great to meet you! Always love a bit of shoe chat! 😊
Great video mate, relly enjoyed that you did awesome!
Thanks Jamie - look forward to seeing you in next years version 😊
And within days of completing this, you've got many more races planned into the strava group. You've absolutely turned into an addict....:P
Hahaha back to it tomorrow with the Newcastle Half Marathon 😊
Amazing efforts! Keep up the great work!
Thank you! ☺️
Well done mate, awesome work 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Conrad! 😊
Saw you there and gave you a shout out. Fabulous achievement. I surpassed my expectations, 30 miles non stop ( not ran further than 16 non stop before) then added another 20. Brilliant event
@@user-pf7mv3rh2w that’s amazing! Congratulations- back for more next year? 😊😎
@@freddyruns not planning to. Done it 3 times in a team and once solo. Falls on same day as Sheffield round run ( another fab event) but you never know may do it as a pair as I’ll suffer from fomo
I can't wait for next year
Going to be a blast James!
Mega effort mate. Had to give this year a miss but will see you next year, hoping for 100km
Look forward to it mate, ‘25 will be epic! 😊
well done amazing
Thank you 😊
Great video and congrats on a brilliant effort to you all - brings back memories (painful ones). Night rain meant it was freezing by 5 am. Did see you on the course but wasn't in a great state to say hello by then. Advice to any one doing this get there very early on Friday to grab a prime track side pitch like Freddy got, I just about managed it at 9.30 am, later than that and you would be struggling .. 16 laps down and binned out about 6.30 am in agony. Good luck next year, would agree with Brice,, don't stop
Well done Pete, 16 laps is tremendous! You back in 2025?
@@freddyruns no trying the Thames Path 100 next year. Look forward to your next video, keep making them 👍
My advice from someone of around the same running ability as yourself is to not sleep and don't have secondary tragets. We were at Leeds and for us it was 100k or we classed it as failure, we went though the night and finished our 13th lap at 20:45.
Thanks Brice! 😊
Congratulations! I passed you about 5:15am I think, quite near the start of the lap. Much easier in a team.
You back in 2025? 😊
@@freddyruns hopefully. Will definitely bring better camping equipment next time; makes a big difference being able to get your head down for a few good hours
