If you don't mind me asking but what is a period? Is it painful? Sorry but it's taboo topic in our country so i have no damn clue😅
It’s part of the menstrual cycle women go through and yes it can be painful

every month an egg is released into the fallopian tube and when that egg isn’t fertilized the tissue and blood lining inside of the uterus and the egg dissolve into a bloody mixture that we just refer to as period blood is released for a week once every month

Im about to start lol mine my symptoms start 2 weeks before and get worse until after day 2 period lol i get very sick sever sever period cramps and back hot flashes chills nausea fever smell smoke not there i have sever panic attacks anxiety attacks since i was 6 diagnosed at 12 im 33 never done treatment i deal myself

But I would say heat packs, some good chocolate, aleeve for the pain, and lots of water
And don’t be scared it’s your body maturing and that’s exciting!
Make sure u have extra pairs of underwear and pads in ur bags because now that u first started it will be very I regular so ya and don't be worried if it doesn't come again in a few months that's normal especially for ur first period and also don't be surprised if it only lasts a few days that is completely normal its ok to have a two day or 6 day period it's all how ur body is maturing and it will work in its own cycle also it is completly normal for ur period blood to be brown that can Ethier mean its old blood on ur pad or it could be just really light but anyway congrats on ur big day and remember this is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of it completely natural and u should embrace it anyway happy bleeding lol 😂🔴

Chocolate, heat packs, lots of rest and water :) and taking ibuprofen or aleeve helps a ton with cramps

It’s not for everyone but for me it’s worked out great!
I used to have extremely difficult periods but they’re so much more manageable now
But I’ve also heard of birth control not being good for some people so it just depends how it works for you personally and sometimes you need to go through and try different types until you find what works best for you :)

They’re for my eyesight, I’m nearsighted
I just got them from the place I go to to get my eyes checked every once in a while
