Bee! If you do not have library card for your local library, get one! you can often times get audio books and such through Libby or similar services. I used to love reading but just do to time and Life~ I've switched to an audiobook girly. I walk or commute to work, and listen while I am working, grocery shopping. and like everything else. its very worth it to do! and that way you don't need to buy the audiobooks.

And also wanna say thank you for respecting that kid and not showing their face on camera. I think us adults show kids too easy on social media. Always happy to see an adult who doesn’t.

1) I know ya have a bunch of equipment already, but have you thought about getting an elliptical? They saved my feet sooo much while still building cardio stamina. I’m lucky enough to have them at my work’s gym, otherwise I’d never be able to afford unless found second-hand. Anyway, I built mine (stamina) up by creating a play list of my favorite songs and then I try to step to whatever beat is playing while mixing the intensity of the settings, depending on the song. Started with only 15 min, but now can go for over two hours and HECK YEAH noticed the biggest payoff when I went hiking this summer and wasn’t even really winded. I was like, “Wow, that elliptical actually did something. Shocked!”
2) Every time I see Doug, he reminds me of the dog from the little Rugrats. I don’t know why. He didn’t even look like that dog. Maybe the ears.
3) I love it whenever you art in your vlogs. As a fellow Graphic Designer, I adore seeing your craftiness and the ease at which you seem to do it. Just flowing.
4) Thanks for the double video treat this week! They always make me (and probably all the rest of us) smile. ❤

The pups are so cute together. When you showed your backyard with them running around and the snow I smiled so hard, I am in Australia so its coming to summer here and already getting sticky, Even in winter the day time temps are rarely less than 65F so snow just seems so romantic and cozy to me.

I spent 9 years as Sparky the Fire Dog when I worked as a Fire Educator for the county in 1980s - 90s. It was one of the more fun things I got to do. Kids loved hugging the dog and talking to him. I miss that job because I loved educating kids about fire safety. (Of course it snowed, you gave the dogs a bath!)
I've NEVER been this early! I haven't even watched yet, but as someone who has crocheted 3 xmas gifts already, Christmas is in full swing in my house hahah

Just a suggestion for something we use at the animal shelter I volunteer at: get a lick mat that you can stick to the wall and freeze it with peanut butter. When it's bath time, stick the frozen peanut butter lick mat to the wall of the bathtub. The pups are so busy trying to get all of the peanut butter, that they stand still when you try to wash them. :)

My dog hated baths until i put a towel in the bottom of the bathtub. something to do with feeling like they can grip. but now we have no problems.
The snow and the soup made me feel pretty excited for winter...which I didn't expect. I guess that was a nice surprise!

My mom keeps a tall, skinny pencil Christmas tree up all year long in her home office( which you can see from many other rooms)(open concept) and she decorates it according to the holiday or season of the year. It’s actually quite beautiful to see what she comes up with. I love that you put up your tree already… why not? Thanks for sharing.❤❄️🎄
My plantar fasciitis cure (personal experience, not a doctor).
1. Get a smallish but firm ball (golf ball, foot yoga ball, plastic water bottle filled with water and allowed to freeze). Roll the ball/bottle around on the floor, using your bare/socked foot. Push firmly. Cover the whole foot, especially wherever it hurts. A good google will get you videos on specific ways to use the ball. Use it before bed, right after waking up, before and after exercising, and whenever pain is particularly bad.
2. Immediately upon waking up, before getting out of bed, stretch your feet by flexing and extending them. Do this before trying to put weight on them.
3. Get the right shoes. In my case, I went to New Balance and told them I had PF. They asked some questions and put me on a machine. I bought the shoes they told me to buy and wore only those. For me, with steps 1, 2, and the shoes, my PF was resolved in about a month. I now wear whatever shoes I want and use my foot ball regularly. It hasn't flared up in years.
4. Other things you can buy - there are boots you wear while asleep that keep your foot in a flexed position. These help to relieve that extreme pain first thing in the morning. I found they worked very well, IF I managed to keep them on all night. I have a habit of removing them in my sleep. There are also these sock-strap combination things that you can use. I didn't care for them but they're definitely less bulky.

Life hack- if you have a Tractor Supply store near you call to find out if they have pet bathing stations. Worth the drive and $10 to bathe your dog there, WAY easier than the tub at home!
Bea, maybe you can borrow the audiobook from your public library to listen to on the treadmill but still use your physical books for reading elsewhere?

I decorated for Christmas yesterday..... Christmas is my favorite. I'm dressing up at work with 2 different costumes for 2 days so i think that makes up for it.

Go to a foot/ankle doctor and get a custom insert(s) I have wasted so much money on trying other things to cure my PF. Nothing worked LONG TERM except this! It is worth it! Nothing is more painful - over time I had developed it in both feet.

I don’t know if you have a basement or not, but a great investment I made at my house was adding an extra large utility sink to the basement for dog bathing. I also purchased a rolling cart with a professional doggy blow dryer and added all of the necessary tools like ear cleaner, nail clippers, drying towels, etc.. It’s made dog baths much easier and quicker clean up.
