Owner here. This is an engineering masterpiece that is lighter than my tablet with keyboard attached. The fast charging is very helpful. The others are mentioned in this video. I've gone thru 3 BIOS updates and the laptop is getting better. Hello windows and fingerprint unlock is very fast and accurate. The whole laptop screams high quality and well built. This is the best windows laptop I've owned thus far.
@@patry2k HUAWEI have the best technology/ everyelse brand is rubbish/ huawei make important stuff that works don't try to say something i have seen many teast i know huawei destroy them easly no matter how old huawei devices is or new
Yeah no 😂 Performance (Cinebench) Surface laptop ARM: 122/920 Huawei: 104/826. Also This is plugged in, Surface laptop don't lose perfomance while on battery, with the Intel that will probably half the score Battery: no comparison, Surface laptop outperforms the macbook air m3 while the Huawei can't even last half a day. Trackpad: Sensel Force on the Surface is said to be better than even the Macbook by all reviewers. Huawei's can't be better as Sensel touch is a different technology than Apple and Huawei. Ports: Huawei only has 3 usb c that's ridiculous. Screen: Surface real brightness is higher, but it's LCD vs OLED so Huawei wins. That means Huawei only wins on speakers and screen, and games (games don't even run that well on the Huawei, it's mostly compatibility issue because they aren't optimised for ARM) that's it. And the screen of the Surface is fine it's just not OLED. And i didn't mention that the Huawei is much more expansive.
@@MainInternetUser eh depends on user really, i hardly ever use it unplugged for 8+hrs most of the time I'm at a desk plugged in and working. I use a lot of programs for work that would be a pain to have workarounds or not even compatible right now for ARM. I've had a M1 MacBook pro because of all the ports and trackpad and this laptop is the closest thing build wise to a mac including the trackpad. Also with the ports I realized I barely used them on the M1 Pro. For the build and performance, on a 14.2 oled touchscreen at 2lbs? come on that's wild! I travel a lot overseas having something that is that light is ridiculously convenient. Price wise for surface can only spec it out at 32gb 1tb. and that's already 2k. Huawei is 32gb 2tb and I got it for around 2300usd ish and that's only cause I was excited and couldn't wait. I'm sure prices will drop unlike surface that barely drops their prices. Don't get me wrong before all this I was a huge surface fan with laptop 5 and surface go. Until everything starts adapting to Snapdragon and they can bring the weight down on these laptops, I'll be happy with the huawei for a while.
@@MainInternetUser eh it really just depends on your uses. you're really just comparing whats on paper and who said what. I wouldn't consider that performance benchmark to be that big of a deal. I have a MacBook pro and I got it for the amazing build quality, ports, speakers and trackpad. This Huawei literally matches the trackpad (with really cool convenient features) and speakers which really blows my mind how it can match the m1 pro for this size. I also realized after owning the m1 pro I barely used any of the ports other than the thunderbolt ports which I think 3 is more than enough. I felt and played with the surface in person yes the build is nice but 13.8" non oled for 3lbs compared to a 14.2" oled, at 2lbs? come on. I travel a lot and carrying around is a breeze. what other brands out there is giving this performance with this build quality? I got this laptop around $2400 maxed out and that's me rushing cause I couldn't wait for a laptop like this I'm sure prices will eventually drop compared to surface. Surface at 32gb,1 tb is already starting at $2300 before taxes you cant even get it at 2tb so I wouldn't compare the price. I also never really find myself using it unplugged for more than 8 hours. Majority of the time its plugged in at a desk and doing work. Speaking of work Snapdragon barely supports any programs that I need for work not even talking about gaming yet. Dont get me wrong I love surface I had the go and laptop before but I got sick of them just releasing whatever is hyped in terms of specs and hold onto that for years they're not really pushing anything revolutionary. until you actually feel this laptop physically and compare to something like the mac you'll know its worth every penny. I'll be happily sticking with the huawei for a while.
Apart from the so-so battery life, this easily beats the much-praised Surface Laptop X-Elite, and at the moment, for the same spec, 1TB/32GB costs significantly less. Also, no issues with legacy X86 support & OLED display. I would still choose a Macbook ahead of these two if battery life was more important. With supply-side issues for AMD likely until the end of the year and Intel having possible delays with their upcoming new chip, it would be a solid ultrabook choice if this gets a bit cheaper (already £500 less than the launch price).
that price definitely does NOT fall in line with the prices of the snapdragon laptop prices, which are all between $1000-$1500. The ultra 9 model comes in all 3 colors. I got one in black with the ultra 9, but had to send it back since it arrived damaged. Windows 11 has built in support for all Android phones.
I like the sound system speaker grills on the sides, but the port selection leaves a lot to be desired. Buyers will have to resort to a dongle. Especially BaseUS dongle with their $20 USD price, 1 HDMI 2.0 port (18GBs), 3 Type A ports (5 Gbs each), a SD card reader, and a Micro-SD card reader.
That matte finish is easy to get dusts and hard to clean. And those bezels aren't than thin for such a price. I guess I won't be buying. Was really looking forward to it. 😢
Sorry I forget to comment your estimate network speed So it'sabout 70MBPS and even considering he was working during that 3 hours and also maybe conneced some other devices so it's roughly would be above 70 MBPS Keep in mind his speed is about x153 my net speed☠️
The display of Samsung xelite model of laptop looks more vibrant compared to this and no one knows it better how to make pro grade display other than Samsung...among all the xelite powered laptops...Samsung has the best panel to keep its reputation in tact.
It's it's overpriced in my opinion, the ultra 7 and 9 can't compare to snapdragon laptops (except the Samsung one because it's bad i every way, I have no idea how they did it but even some X plus laptops can outperform it) like the Surface laptop in battery life while being more expansive. And that's without mentioning the fact that there are no headphone jack, no USB-A, no SD card slot, no HDMI 2.1 (or HDMI at all), RAM isn't as fast as ARM laptops And i didn't even say that X Elite laptops and M3 outperforms this Ultra 9 CPU, (if you use thr Surface laptop and not the Samsung, even tho it has a lower SKU)

it need to replace intel core by Qualqomm sp xElite , to be a good laptop
But there is basically no good software which you could use with it anymore
It's impossible anymore. Huawei will no longer use a Qualcomm chip. However, it is working on its own ARM chip for use in personal computers.
Waiting for the mate G14 !
