I don't believe so. Wave One files' cutting edge is the opposite of regular files. However, you can use ProTaper Gold files with OGP. Not exactly the same instrumentation technique but close.

Hi Kev
Really curious about this device.
Have never used a hand piece build in apex locator.
How does it practically work when you need to determine the wl? The apex locator tells you when you have reached the foremen but it does not give you the wl in millimetres. To get the actual reading do you take the previous used file (let's say your sequence is 10 hand, proglider, x1) progileder (after using the x1) and push the file passively to the apex?

Hi Dennis, all of these endo motors + apex locators give you the ability to instrument while obtaining real time working length. You can see the file get closer and closer on the screen while you use your rotary, just like when you use a hand file and watch/wind closer the apex. The built in apex locator in the endo motor also allows for the rotation of the file to stop if you are at the apex. This is convenient not only for knowing your length but also in getting precise instrumentation to length without relying on a stopper and reference point.
