US having declared certain media companies as foreign agents, and journalists from such a company is probably not accepted if they apply? Not sure why you would tie this to a nations internal gouvernment system. If you mean to imply it is unfair of said media companies to still be viewed as such, that could be a topic to itself. I'm sure some of the US media-companies integrity could be put into question aswell(anti/pro conservatives/democrats i.e.), and maybe some of them are not invited for the same reason? Why do they totally cut out the sound whenever a reporter asks a question. I'm sure that the handheld mics are tied into speakers, but shouldn't they also be tied into the broadcast switcher.
So far i have found this video to to be the most accurate translation of Putin. Others are misinterpreted but you can hear the questions being asked lol you are going to have to listen to the questions elswhere. I do know the first silent question from the guy waving his hands was something like "so did you agree to stop attacking Ukraine" in typical us media fashion. Good luck putting it all together.
They are translating the Questioner's English into Russian for Putin when it's silent, except toward the end when there was a cut out. To see the whole version closer to straight-through, you need to understand Russian. It is here on UA-cam.
I think the translator only translate if they are not speaking English. When they speak English the translator shuts up but the Mic is turned way down so we never here it.

The journalists giving questions, the leader of a nation answering those questions, the quality of the questions and answers, the translation of questions and answers, the degree to which questions and answers provide insight into the meeting and the coverage overall (the degree to which NBC was able to cover this without interruption and technical difficulties). It's not only "listening to the man speaking", as you put it. In simpler terms, it's an overall assessment.

Why do they totally cut out the sound whenever a reporter asks a question. I'm sure that the handheld mics are tied into speakers, but shouldn't they also be tied into the broadcast switcher.
So far i have found this video to to be the most accurate translation of Putin. Others are misinterpreted but you can hear the questions being asked lol you are going to have to listen to the questions elswhere. I do know the first silent question from the guy waving his hands was something like "so did you agree to stop attacking Ukraine" in typical us media fashion. Good luck putting it all together.
They are translating the Questioner's English into Russian for Putin when it's silent, except toward the end when there was a cut out. To see the whole version closer to straight-through, you need to understand Russian. It is here on UA-cam.
