1. You are seeing short do you guys realise ? 2. The vision document can be accessed in the Ministry website, they are based on planning, movement of people etc 3. There are dozens of speeches on water ways that Gadkari is very keen and talked about the potential ..
Well he had given the answer if you are smart enough to understand it. There is a lack of vision in the ministry of port , shipping & waterways.

To all people, rightly pointing out that the answer was missing.... Nitin-ji has answered this in Think School podcast. He has confirmed that waterways is one of the focus items for 2024-29.
With regard to priority .... Nitin-ji has explained the various challenges faced in land acquisition and environmental clearance. I suspect that as and when the hurdles are cleared each project will go on, in parallel to others

How did people not get the answer from the story he did answer the 1st question, he built the road in 2 yrs, Sir Dhirubhai challenged him it wasn't possible then to that Nithin Sir said there was a lot of seminar, research behind it, i think all that could result in final decision making.. for road building priority..

Very true!
River linking and cleaning projects have stalled and failed beyond explanation. Even a neta like Gadkari is avoiding it.
A lot of public funds are wasted in water, land, forest , agriculture, urban dev, health, skills, education, police reforms, judicial infrastructure and e-governance projects. All these abject failures are attempted to be covered up by the few successes in roads and buildings.
Nitin Gadkari is a great cabinet minister and 3-4 other cabinet ministers are also excellent but unfortunately the collective leadership, whilst better than Congress et al, are most definitely not good enough relative to the potential of our society and the international competition.
As an analogy - Tata group would not be a great international icon if it was only looking to be better than Ambani or Birla. The great teams care to deliver excellence relative to the best possible vision, ideas and competence.

I love this minister but I didn't get the answer. I was looking to know the process of prioritising the projects and the doubtful tendering system. Having pool of money is one part of the plan and I believe there are lots of decisions that concerns in prioritising the projects.

Gadkari did very well in waterways development across India. But in Kerala for instance, waterways projects implemented spending crores of rupees were blacked out by biased local media to favour the entrenched communists and congis. This is a fact. Gadkari is an efficient and visionary minister.
