Great video! The White's tree frogs are hilarious. I remember last year my dad came over to feed my cats when I was away. He called me and said there is a dog barking upstairs. No dad that's just the White's tree frogs 😂😂😂.
That is awesome! Mine can be so loud too
😂😂😂
I'm afraid they would freak out my dog!😂
He figured us out! Yes, Adam, we're only here for the shiny head! 😂😂😂
@@chrisweiss9787 I KNEW IT
dude idk if anybodys ever told you this, but your videos are super super bingeable! can watch like 5-10 in a row like it's nothing
Wow, thanks! I really appreciate that!
So true. Hasn't got that "droning on" voice some people have
As someone who grew up everywhere between TX and FL, its always humorous to me to see someone suggest Anoles. Before the internet was fast, available, and affordable in cellphones, we would run around and catch these guys. You could always get a laugh out of your friends with "lizard earings."
So cool
Truth lol I grew up in south Florida
@@darcystcorner2580 same! Fort Lauderdale.😂
@@gregoire203333 lauderhill for me lol small world
@@darcystcorner2580I still live here and I remember other kids doing this as well. I never did though
I remember when I was younger I wanted a lizard that looked like a dragon and I saw that picture of the satanic leaf gecko on the thumbnail and when it didn’t look like that I was sad 😂
crazy eh!
Oh yeah letssssss gooooo. Great vlog as always. Satanic leaf geckos are so cool looking. Great list of reptiles that can live in a 30 gal. Enclosure for life. I hope you and Trish have an awesome rest of the week and weekend, see you again on Monday
I hope you have an awesome weekend!
Always happy to see Frankie, his coloration is so striking. Thanks Adam for the mini class, always like learning something new.🦎🐍🐸👍❤️
Great video Adam! Always making me want more animals and content!
As a Texan I see anoles all the time, usually on fences, walls, or tree trunks
And I love seeing them flaring their red crests and doing these little push-ups to try and show off
that's so cool!
Find then in the yards of Houston back In the day
I've got a White's tree frog in a 30 gallon enclosure, and I love listening to him call. He likes to sing so much, we named him Caruso.
My local pet co in etown Kentucky has a leopard gecko that desperately needs to be adopted if anyone wants to try to rescue it, its extremely under wait, im trying to spread this so hopefully it gets saved
Great video as always!
thanks!
Woot woot! 30 gallon. A fine addition to your collection!
Great channel, earned a sub!
Thanks for subbing! I really appreciate it!
Whites tree frogs sound like ducks quacking or geese honking. I’m worried about your dog 😂
Hahahaha
You are the best UA-cam ever have a awesome day have a cool day have a wonderful day good job
Thanks! You too!
Been waiting for a “what can fit in this enclosure size?” video. Finally got one!
Hope you like it!
When we were kids my brother and cousin used to catch green anoles and get them to bite their ear lobes so they had lizard earings. Before someone freaks out, they never hurt the lizards and always let them go afterwards. I never did it. I just liked watching the lizards run around in the bushes.
You just can't resist a Frankie flex!
I looked after my cousins beardie for a week and I absolutely fell in love and I’m searching for a reptile of my own now!
I’ve been binging this channel for the last 2 days :p
hey that's awesome! I hope the videos have been helpful!
@@WickensWickedReptiles dont really have the space for a massive tank so im looking at a marbled gecko! cant get a lot of species you have talked about here in australia lol, anyway ty for the good advice!
These are the 5 reptiles:
1. Bearded Dragon
2. Leachianus Gecko
3. Savannah Monitor
4. 20-Foot Burmese Python, yoinked
5. Komodo Dragon
hahahahaha!
That's cool I didn't think about these odd sized aquariums such as the 25 gallon aquarium that I have.
I would really appreciate a video on how you do your bedding. I just got into the snake hobby, and doing my co co husk has been a nightmare. The instructions on some of the bricks are awful lol
Personally i leave the brick in the bag and put it in a big ass tote, cut the top open, and fill the bag with water and let it sit for a good bit while the water soaks in. Then I just cut the side open and empty it into the tote and add of dump water as needed. Only works if your bag doesn't come full of holes obviously 😅.
*add or dump water* I mean
Green anoles are in the shrubs and the stronger grasses in South Carolina. I always loved them as a kid here. 😂❤
Great, just great! Now you gave me an excuse to get another reptile 😂 My family jokes and says I need to charge my kid’s friends admission to come over for play dates.
Thanks for all your help and inspiration for a hobby that has been so rewarding!!
hahahaha!
Could you make a video about enclosure placement and outfitting? For instance, should you keep arboreal species higher up, would it make them more comfortable like alot of birds? Also would transparent bottom enclosures help arboreal species that rarely go to ground feel more comfortable by creating the illusion of more vertical space within their enclosure? Also is it beneficial to insulate the bottoms of enclosures for fossorial species to reduce the myriad of constant background vibrations produced by modern houses?
One of my favorite reptiles, Cophotis dumbara aka Knuckles Pygmy Lizard could fit in a 30 gallon. Hard to find though so probably not recommended for most people.
I think anoles are super interesting to watch. In the wild at least.
For a more common snake option you can keep also Western Hognoses (or however they are called now days) in this size enclosure, they are basically the same size as rosey's , unless you're lucky enough to get one of the monster 4 foot females that have been popping out lately.
that's true!
Hey I’m planning on making a large tank custom made and I’ve seen your other videos but I could use your advice I don’t know if I should get a blue tongue skink or a Schneider skink but overall what do you think is better for handling and bonding because you make these reptiles look amazing 🤩 but I still can’t decide between these two
Those tree frogs sound like a cross between a crow and a duck.
That’s accurate
@@WickensWickedReptiles Hehe. Thank you.
Great video as always. I would add mourning geckos.
They fit too!
Yeah! He's talking about Rosies!
Sand boas are so popular these days, and they're cool enough, but man... they're under the damn sand most of the time! Most people who want a sand boa *really* want a rosie. Or maybe a rubber boa, but I don't know much about them.
I like rosey boas because they act like boas and they look like boas (more so than sand & rubber) but they're small & easily housed. And I'm not sure there's many snakes that eat so well but don't bite *you* 😅
well said!
You’re my favorite UA-camr
oh geeee thanks
Ok i have a 18x18x24, currently houseing a red eye tf, green tf, and a long tail grass lizard. Kinda want to add another day time bugger just not sure if that would max stress the enclosure.
can you make a video on sheltopusiks?
YOUR asome!!! Im going to get a leopard gecko!
Thank you so much! That’s awesome
Get a SuperG
One thing no one tells you about rosy boas is that as they grow older, their personality can switch to a bitey one. Thats what happened with me. Started super docile and sweet. But as he grew, he turned food aggressive at anything with a heartbeat (and this is with me handling him a few times a week to keep him tame). And it starts with no warning (thankfully their bites are pretty minimal and light). Some people vow that they dont bite, and then others, especially breeders and store keepers, say rosies are the most bitey species they've dealt with. Im only guessing its luck of the draw.
Interesting
Do you think a leopard gecko would be happy in a 36 x 18 x 12? Is what I have mine in. Love the videos
Can you cohab a rough green snake and green anoles safely?
Best snakes
that Adam wants to trade for my corn snake
Hahahaha
@@WickensWickedReptiles I took her to a doctor not too long ago because I'd give her mice, and she'd kill the mice but not eat them, and they were telling me to feed her pinky mice even though she's maybe three feet long. I'd been feeding her mice for months with no problem, and all of a sudden she was giving me problems. Since then she went through a shed so I called and asked if that could be why she wasn't eating, and they said it's possible but were still recommending smaller mice. Someone went and got three mice for me, and they weren't pinkies, but she ate one of them, and the others are on death row.
As you're saying with the outliers of real life species being like maybe twice the size of what they normally get it just started me thinking of the modern Pokemon games where they actually show a little bit of a range for the sizes Pokemon can be I mean Pokemon are still going to be really really large or really really small based on the species you're not going to get a Pikachu that's anywhere near the size of a Gyarados and vice versa but on Pokemon go once my friend from the neighborhood and I were trading Lugia when we got to Lucky friends once I had a record small one and she had a record large one we swapped and then looked at our Pokedex to see the range we had the one she gave me was like 10 times the size of the one I gave her I don't know if you ever saw that episode of Pokemon where there was a baby Lugia but that was definitely going through my head most pokemon go even if you get a really really large one and a really really small one it's usually going to be no more than like maybe two or three times the height of the little one for the large one and maybe up to 10 times the weight
Are green anoles not in Canada? They are everywhere in Texas. I see probably ten each time I step out on my front or back porch 😂
haha no, we only have one species of lizard here and it's a skink. Way too cold in the winter
I hav one crestie in a 24 x 24 x 32 enclosure 😅
I honestly wonder, how different is it like to own a Keeled Bellied compared to a Anole.
The personality is very different
white's tree frogs sound like someone cutting a piece of wood with a hand saw
Hahahaha yeah they do eh
Plsssssssssss make a video about middle jard. Teptiles to tske care of beacuse I need a reptile pet!!! Or a cold klimat reptiles
Beacuse I live in sweden and it is very cold in the winter.
Way to set off my WTF boys LOL
hhahaha sorry
The gecko with wings reminds me you know there's so many types of lizards that have dragon as part of their common name I would assume all of which with the exception of the Komodo dragon can be pets I feel like someone had to name one of those after one of the House of the dragon or game of thrones dragons and got them some wings from the small pet clothing section that they have at Petco and PetSmart around Halloween I really feel like I need to see somebody do that
Another good reptile for 30 gallon is the African blue tailed skink they are funny little skinks and great personalities I have one and he is a funny little boy
I don't know anything about them buy very cool!
Carpet-carpet-carpet-carpet-carpet-chameeeeleonnnns
Nice
Th3 whites tree frogs sound like a wet eraser on a desk, a white one not pink
hahahahah you're not wrong
now sure if you would answer but would you do a video on flying geckos??? or have you already done that?
I could!
@@WickensWickedReptiles that would be so cool if you did :D
I think the only other 'shiny head' UA-camr I follow with Matthew Santoro and I've been following him for a long time through all that drama when he created other accounts and then was on a hiatus for a while and everyone was worried about him oh he's not doing any list videos anymore and then he went back to him and just not as often because he was putting too much pressure on himself even through that short-lived thing he had the gaming channel none of the games he played have I ever even heard of but it was funny to watch him with all the jump-scares cuz it was mostly horror based games and spoiler alert he's not built for that I remember when he briefly moved to America because he's a Canadian just like you he moved to LA prices less than a year he was like this is going to be my new life adopted two kittens and then immediately regretted being in America and went back to Toronto
Yeah he’s actually from the same hometown as me. He’s not in Toronto but close to Toronto
@@WickensWickedReptiles when are my celeb crushes as an adult is a wrestler they always say he's from Toronto but he's from Orangeville he lives in the States now Edge I met him at a book signing at Walmart when he was 31
I have some whites tree frogs. I like to describe the sound like a frog sized duck.
Not a chick but an adult duck the size of a frog
That sounds about right
Don’t settle for a 30gal when you can find 40Gals for $120
sure but some people have them already or find them at shows for next to nothing, etc.
How hard is it to take care of all of your geckos and lizards
it's a lot but not overwhelming
I think green anoles are boring too they are like everywhere where I’m from
They are everywhere for sure
Chickens with a respiratory issue 😂😂😂😂
hahaha yep
Hey I wanted to say thank you. I have severe depression and anxiety. My panic attacks manifest as seizures and your videos are always a great way to cheer me up and calm me down. You have such wonderful energy and are so positive it helps me so much.Because of these also, I had to leave my job working with reptiles at a zoo here and I miss it so much. Seeeing your collection and passion makes me so happy. I can't thank you enough for putting out content and helping people like me. Thank you so much.
Jay Sankey is a UA-camr, and he's got a shiny head.
Does he!? Shiny head showdown
@@WickensWickedReptiles His videos are magic tutorials while yours are about reptiles and amphibians, and he has done giveaways in the past.
Can a human life in a 30 gallon enclosure?
I mean probably not a great move
I live in one
No to big
I just got a bearded dragon so I will keep him in a 30 gallon! Just kidding I have a 120 gallon
haha nice!
when I got him his name was gus but I changed it to Jerry

There's a satanic leaf gecko and a Jesus lizard 🦎 which is so called because they can run on water.
