I am an artist and this is a very nicely done painting. If you look at the composition the 2 people are the focal point and all the lines draw you to them. So the hill to the left comes down on them, the clouds point to them, the sheep to the very left and right point inwards to wards them.
That painting is so the two of you dancing with the sheep. It's delightful. Thank you for todays video. 🥰

My mother told me when we pass. We come back as butterflies cause. They are such a beautiful creature. And you smile when you look at them and they make you happy. That's why we come back as a butterfly.

After my Mother passed away, in the early spring, we were camping by a river in the mountanis that summer A lovely Swallotail butterfly flew over and landed on my skirt, of pale yellow gingham, not brightly colored, it and just stayed there for several minutes., ,, It would fly off for a while and return to cling to my skirt. all that afternoon.. I thought of my Mother, how she l liked to call herself a Butterfly. . I just feel that anything is possible and the Butterfly was a message from her. ❤. Knowng her, if she could come back for a day as a butterfly and know where to find me, she would. :) There was a song she loved, The Dog and Butterfly, about a dog that chased a butterfly, but couldn’t jump that high. She said she was like that dog who wanted to fly l

I would have loved to talk to the colourist that used to work for Liberty. I’m a quilter. I just purchased some liberty fabric to create a couple of quilts. Love their prints, as their florals are so happy.

The comment about German glass being too perfect for art glass reminded me of the 150 year old house that I lived in for 25 years. Light danced through the waves and occasional bubble of the old glass windows in the living room.

Dear Kirsten and Jorg, I was about to post mid video, that you should buy the “Dancing with the sheep” painting, which I think was £250.00. Imagine my surprise that at the end of your video, that you had actually bought it! :-)
I was so happy, that you did:-)
Whenever I visit an amazing place or City, I always head off to either the artist’s quarter, or a place which has old prints of the particular Country which we are visiting.
As a result, we have very eclectic works on our house walls, which still bring us great joy.
Our latest acquisition, was an 18th Century Persian hunting scene, painted in azure blue and gold leaf, bought from the book market located outside of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul:-)
I also, many years ago, bought an etching by Albrect Durer,, from a remote monastery in a visit to Bavaria, which I have still have, to value, “Entitled the Knight, Death and the Devil”.., as the parameters of the etching and strange paper, which it was printed on, match up with museum quality Durer…
All my friend’s consider this a “spooky picture”, which I bought well over twenty years ago, but I still love , which is located in the basement of our German house 🙂

I have started collecting so much of the style you guys collect and even my Children and Husband have fallen in love with this elegant, classy, fun and timeless style. I have three children and a entire collection of Antique 'depression' glass my precious Momma collected for me when I was growing up, ( called Rose of Sharron by many) and I have her Entire China collection that is now close to 70 years old that was gifted to her and I needed and have searched for something to collect for my third precious little one. I have searched and searched for something that is beautiful, unique and special especially since my precious Momma passed away not too long ago, I wanted something that would be true to her style too. YOU DID IT!!! You introduced me to a collection I can cherish and SHARE with my family now and one day (hopefully MANY MANY years from now) I can leave to my third child that has the grace, elegance, style , timeless beauty with history just like my own Momma would have had and did for me. Thank you, Kirsten, from my heart for sharing this 'world' with me and helping guide me in a direction of all the things that makes the heart go "pitter patter", that one day my children can appreciate and think back and remember when their Mom built a collection just for them.
