I’m in tears watching this. ❤️💔 Jacci gave so many cats a chance to have a great life when otherwise, their lives would have ended long ago. Thank you Mama Jacci for having such a huge heart of kindness.
Anyone else watching this in tears??? Jacci you truly are an amazing lady...what you have done for all the babies at FFRC over the years is truly a blessing. I hope you have a great retirement and we all will miss you deeply. This is not goodbye, it's we will see you soon. Take care, safe travels and have a great time sitting on the beach

I am deeply saddened and crying throughout.😭💔 I never wrote in the chat because I don't speak English, but I watched the live stream on UA-cam almost every day. I'm so infatuated with cats and I think it's amazing what Jacci and everyone else is doing for these wonderful velvet paws.

This is unbelievably heartbreaking video. I am crying at the thought of Jacci not being able to be there for the kitties that she has been with all these years. It’s like losing all of her babies. It won’t be the same without her, but the team and volunteers will make sure the kitties are well taken care of. I am glad that Jacci will be able to take care of herself and family. FFRC nation will always rally!!! Safe travels to Jacci and her family. God bless you for all you have done and what you will do in the future.

Jacci she is my hero I will miss her so much! FFRC has been such a wonderful place for me to be because I’m disabled don’t get out much and I am in constant pain but she and her Center helped me through some of the darkest times in my life and my heart is broken that she’s leaving but I know it’s for the best but watch it here with these cats is breaking my heart because I know how much she loves them

I’ve only watched started watching for around 6-7 months, but Jacci makes us feel as if we’ve known her for years and years.
Jacci truly is a special soul and comes along once in a lifetime. I have learned so much from Jacci in this short period.
Everything is temporary here on earth and now it’s finally kicking in that our beloved Jacci is leaving.

This must have been so difficult for Jacci. It's like the cats knew and were coming to say goodbye to her. Jacci saved those kitties lives. I just can't imagine how she felt this morning. Have to say, for me, I felt a bit intrusive watching this. An intensely emotional moment for Jacci to have her private thoughts and final snuggles with the kitties. She has not only been their rescuer, but a constant in their lives. 'Momma Jacci' leaves a void that will be felt not only by us, but moreso by the residents. 💜
I have clicked on this video and immediately paused because I can't bring myself to watch Jacci parting with her precious darlings.
I have tears running down my face and I've not seen anything but the thumbnail.
The relationship she has with each cat is so damn special.....it was a privilege to witness and feel her heart hold each and every cat she came into contact with.
I'll watch the entire video when I get the courage to feel my heart break....
Jacci, I wish you, Steve and Donna only the best that life has to offer for that is, truly, what you absolutely deserve.

omg what an extremely thing to do it is to say goodbye to our loved ones. This breaks my heart, I always imagine her being old petting the cats, not in charge anymore but at least there. She will be missed.

I love 💕 watching the cats 🐈 🐈⬛ sleeping & mooching around especially early in the morning. The 2 cats without their back legs are so cute 🥰 the way they scoot around.

Jacci, this was so heartbreaking to watch. I was crying with you. I cannot imagine how difficult this was. I watch other rescues, but you, but you are the only who really get involved with your chatters/friends. The others gives you updates, but they don't try to get involved. They are all wonderful people with they do for the kitties. But Jacci, you love everybody. I have only communicated through Facebook messenger and you graciously answered all my notes. I send my deepest love to you, Donna, Steve, the Great Danes and eleven kitties. I will miss you even though I have only been here a short time and an occassional lurker. Have a wonderful retirement.

I only discovered the FFRC web cam just under a year ago and watching Jacci feed the kitties breakfast quickly became a part of my daily routine. I admire and respect her so much for what she has built and the legacy of care that she is leaving behind. Even though I only know her from what I see on UA-cam, it's clear that she has the kindest of hearts and is a truly special individual. I am going to miss watching her interact with the residents, the volunteers, and the chatters. And a special shoutout to Donna. She is a hoot and will be missed as well. Having said all that, the volunteers that remain and Megan are all so wonderful and I know they will do a fantastic job of keeping FFRC going and carrying Jacci's mission forward.
To borrow a phrase, all my good thoughts and prayers go out to Jacci, Donna, and Steve as they start their next chapter in OBX, and also to the dedicated folks who carry on doing the good work they do at FFRC. ❤
