I live in the city in a multicultural area. It is full with supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Now most buildings are going to be renovated because of fiscal advantages. Not far away a new project is arising called "Trees library " in order to pay more attention to nature.

In German it’s „Reihenhaus“ (House in a row). And yeah. That’s no village for me too. In Eastgermany a Dorf is something with no shops at markets at all. There are a few houses, fields, nothing more.

I am assuming that the better english translation would be "which you can learn by training interactively" 6:36 the order is switched, it should be "and in the russian language, we don't even have a special word for it". Most russian learners could probably figure that out from the first 3 words tho lol, but the fourth word tripped me up because I didn't know that it meant language

It's an easy walk to both of them, and there are walking and biking paths around the lake, too. There aren't very many bars or restaurants within walking distance, but they're a very short drive from our home.

In winter in Petersburg besides the fact that it’s cold it is also quite windy. You need warm hat, gloves (or mittens), scarf and warm boots. Good luck.

About the only good things I can say about my neighborhood are that it is safe, traffic isn't bad, and there are several parks within walking distance. Otherwise, it's boring, has very few good places to eat, and is somewhat far from the big city.

If I may make a suggestion, please don't use background music on your videos, or at least mute it when you are speaking, it serves no real purpose other than making it more difficult for a beginner to hear the finer nuances of your spoken Russian.
At first I wondered how clean and pretty and idyllic it is in Russia but then realized that it is the Netherlands. Interesting. I like the positive vibe of the video, too!
And what does the Dutch cities and the study of the Russian language have to do with the example of the Dutch city🙄, and what from your Russian city could not be shown by example? Or in russian city there no garbage containers recycle or regular?
We live in the Netherlands so we show our city and our neighborhood 🙂 On this channel we talk about the Russian language, which only partly has to do with the country and mostly with the people who speak it and who study it, and those people live all over the world 🌍

I'm so beginner that I listen only a couple of short sections - between those pauses - per day. The pauses helped me to find that solution.
