Kaveh has a photographic memory, Alhaitham can passively absorb information wherever he goes. They also have different styles that complement each other.

Alhaitham and Kaveh being Alhaitham and Kaveh
After the events of the Parade of Providence, Kaveh and Alhaitham seem like they worked on their communication. They don't argue here, Kaveh calls Alhaitham's house home now, they're more comfortable and domestic, Alhaitham still teases Kaveh but softer and Kaveh takes it well (the secret scene at the House of Daena). We love to see the development of characters 😌

I love that they balance each other out. Alhaitham provides stability, while Kaveh makes Alhaitham's life more interesting, and colorful (Kaveh also does all the housework according to his character stories)
Like the providence event, those two pretty much needed so they can at least balance each other, lets be honest those two just enjoy each other's company. Despite the arguements

@@evernightdream676 That is the truth. They became boring just for the sake of appeasing their shippers. They were not like that before this. Even UNPCs like Cyrus and Tighnari's master are far more interesting than those two. Alhaitham and Kaveh felt more like NPCs in this story quest.

Well at least those two aren't arguing as much anymore. Whic personally I think Alhaitham starts it
100%, Alhaitham likes to get Kaveh riled up, lol. But, I think Kaveh made it clearly it really bothers him, and either Alhaitham is no longer taking his bad mood out on Kaveh... or he's listening and respecting Kaveh's boundries.
Someone else commented on it, but it seems after that one event, these two seemed to have settled down and are getting along a lot better now.
@@cussundriakneal9904 i think Alhaitham loves to tease Kaveh but often he does it as a genuine advice (all those times they argued about Kaveh putting others above himself and getting in trouble because of it). like Alhaitham was not wrong in trying to make Kaveh take care of himself more but his way of expressing it was too blunt, saracstic and came off insensitive (i also headcanon Alhaitham as somewhere on autistic specter).
however, it seems with time Alhaitham became softer with it and Kaveh also started taking it less sensitive after Alhaitham helped him learning about his father's death. it was obvious they cared about each other before but now they seem to work together better, be even more domestic and while still having a banter (cuz they both said having discussions is sacred for brilliant minds) but it's less tense. Kaveh calls Alhaitham's house "home" now 🥺i love that hoyo actually showed us the development of their relationship since it's clear they're most important and central figures in each other's lives and all they needed is some better communication.
