There’d be no KK’s Priest without the original Priest. The original band in its prime will never be surpassed . Having said that, this a killer rendition of a classic. Well done.👊🏻👍🏻
You could argue, that there would have been no Priest without KK. He wanted to play in Atkins band Judas Priest. They disband though so Atkins joined KKs band which they then renamed to Judas Priest again. So without KK there would have been no Priest. KK and Ian were the original founding members of Priest.
KK, he’s insanely talented, this is amazingly better I’m sorry to say, a tear in my eyes doing that, I listened to Judas sense 1976, always loved them! My favorite band, but this kicks my brain/ it’s so fu-ing good ❤❤❤
I mean, it bums me out that KK is not in JP but nice to see he still delivers the goods. Classic KK solo reworked for today. Looks like a solid crowd too. Good for them.
My very first (major) Judas Priest concert was during my early teenage rockin' years in the S.F. Bay area. Up front center stage. Day on the Green in Oakland, Ca. July 23rd of ''77, opening for Led Zeppelin. Had purchased "Sin After Sin" officially released, couple months prior to their debut Bay Area gig. Nobody up in the front stage area even knew who they were. Many had perplexed reactions as I was rockin' out. This version "46 fuckin' years later," rocks beyond the heavy metal gods. Right on, KK! Keep it real. Your band rocks!
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
I'm a longtime fan of JP, and I actually was the bassist of a bar band that Scott Travis played in, called Hooker. We used to play full sets of Priest at the bars in Norfolk, Va. Scott was hands down the best drummer I've ever played with, or seen. But I have to say, it doesn't seem like they're heart is in it anymore. I know personell changes are hard on bands, and no body seems to sound as good as the original members. Nostalgia perhaps? I'll say this... Scott, man you still got it, my friend. Lost touch with you for the last 28 years, but "Frank Perdue" says hi.
Les Binks drumming on this track, has never been matched IMHO. This is a decent rendition by KK's lads, but me thinks the live Unleashed version is still the best ✌
Ripper joins his second Judas Priest cover band. Just kidding. I LOVE THIS STUFF. All the best to all in both K.K.'s Priest and Judas Priest. METAL!!!!
KK's Priest and JP should join forces and do a last hurrah stadium tour with 10 shows per continent and a 4 hour set. Get all the original members back that are still alive. I would pay $500 for that.
I'm 60 have been listening to Judas Priest since 1974 but now that I'm older don't mean shit. I still listen to them. I agree, this band kills it.
Right behind ya! 58 here. 🤘 Can't wait for the new Priest album this March also!
Rob Halfords band Judas Priest isn't not more.
kK Priest sounds better
When nature calleth" thou shall not stalleth, but yeah worst time tho?!
What is it with people stating their age? I'm 67 so what?!
@@vanzandt8809 I state my age to show that I still listen to metal. What's your problem.
Ripper was always a monster!!! He has always been an exceptional singer and now his voice is even stronger. Sensational.
At 71 years old, Ken still has it...
Damn right!! 🤘
72
Once she was wonderful...once she was miiiiine!!!
The drummer is fire!!!
Old priest, new priest. I love all of it. KK is a guitar god.
I’ve been on the JP train since 1975. They are part of the Metal Trinity- Sabbath, Priest & Maiden. KK and crew are killing it!
There’d be no KK’s Priest without the original Priest. The original band in its prime will never be surpassed . Having said that, this a killer rendition of a classic. Well done.👊🏻👍🏻

Good lord! This is awesome.
OH MY! That's unbelievable!
This band is in better shape than the original Priest. KK rules.
Loved this!!
Amazing

I was at that concert also, it was my first concert. Rob Halford had long hair wearing a pink shirt. Judas Priest looked different in 1977.
That sounds great, love that lead in guitar part
Man, this is incredible!
This is what metal should sound like !!
oooh ! /,,/ !
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
Good quality video and sound! Thanks for sharing. Cheers! 🥃
Kk AMAZING!!!
Incredible. Seriously smashing it these guys.
Unleashed in the East is still my go to kick ass album💪
I really need to see these guys live. KK is amazing, especially for his age. Ripper is sounding incredibly great, he fkn killed it.
The 80s Approved this performance!!!
Ripper is a ****ing beast! Hopefully KK keeps this band going!

Brilliant.
Stellar performance 🤘
KK Fukin rules. Let him back in!!!
Les Binks drumming on this track, has never been matched IMHO.

Ripper on point.
Simply Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great stuff! What a time to take a call of nature tho!
Simply badass! If id have heard this on the radio instead of seeing it here I'd have sworn it was Judas Priest. 🤘😁
A versão do unisonic c kiske é imbatível.
Ripper joins his second Judas Priest cover band. Just kidding. I LOVE THIS STUFF. All the best to all in both K.K.'s Priest and Judas Priest. METAL!!!!

Oh hell yeah!!
Tipton did all the really hard stuff back in the day... But KK is seriously kicking butt .... or should that be f##king butt.....😉
KK 👍😎🤘🎸
The greatest heavy metal song of all time.
And people forget that AL Atkins, Priests first singer, wrote it!
Unreal great band--Only Ripper could do Rob's sounds so well...Amazing singer
This band is incredible, Rob should be stoked that Ripper is carrying on his legacy!
Holy crap this is pretty much up there with the RH versions
Wonderfull!🤘
Rip em off some Ripper!! You sir are the man!!
K.K.KILLIN IT!!! 🤘

That would be awesome- they could do some of the Owens-era songs that Halford won’t sing. Bring Glenn out, and kick some metal booty…
They could have Original singer AL Atkins duet on this and Whiskey Woman!
Ripper Owen's voice never disappoints. 🖤🤘
