- So, what is The SCP Foundation? In the most basic sense, the group’s mission statement is right there in the SCP acronym: Secure, Contain, Protect. It is the task of the Foundation to, in their own words, contain “anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena.” Things that don’t make sense. Things that don’t belong. Things that simply don’t fit in with our perception of reality, and some things that pose an existential threat to all human life. They refer to these contained anomalies as SCPs, each of which is accompanied by a number. This is a broad umbrella, as an SCP can range from benign or even actively helpful to downright apocalyptic if ever released.
Much like the infamous “Men In Black” often reported by witnesses in connection with alien sightings, the Foundation works in secret to maintain a sense of normalcy at all costs - knowing the chaos it would cause if any of the anomalies they’re harbouring ever became public.

I'm not a big horror guy, but I really gotta hand it to the SCP. This isn't some random story a teenager came up with one night. Its comprised of THOUSANDS of extremely detailed stories that use a lot of the time real world horrors. Its extremely complex, while fake (obviously) is a fantastic story telling component of human and extera-terrestiall fears. You could spend hundreds of hours and barley scratch the suffurace of all the SCP's. That community has done a great job seriously.
I think some of these are from some random teenager's imagination. I mean c'mon... a woman being tortured, unable to die just to prevent a birth that would destroy the world? That sounds like it could only have come from a teenager's mind.

I'm both glad and suprised of how popular the SCP Foundation has gotten since 2020. When I was in middle school in 2017/2018ish I joined the Fandom when it was sort of dying. It seemed no one cared but after I left in 2019 it seemed it start getting popular again. As it should. The amount of fear I got from reading different SCPs stories gave me nightmares. That's how good the writing was of the wiki post.
Sooo... basically the organization from Cabin in the Woods, but globally and better armed.

With there being so many, I think that a short series would be better, and it focuses on the more well known SCPs, a scientist, or a D class.I think the scientist or D class would be better because then em episode could possibly focus on more than one, while if it was on an SCP chances are it would be focused on just that one.

Reading through all these papers and interview logs full of REDACTEDs and clinical language really brings on that spooky feeling of having come across something you shouldn't be reading. Have to nitpick here, Thaumiel-class SCPs aren’t restricted to helping containment of other anomalies, such as with SCP-3000. It’s Thaumiel classification is due to its production of Y-909, a powerful amnestic agent that helps with erasing memories in civilian witnesses, nothing about containment of other SCP. Don’t get me wrong, I love the videos, I mean no criticism in this nitpick.
