Belarus makes pretty good sweets. I used to like 90% bitter chocolate manufactured by Spartak, excellent and cheap. Kommunarka also makes nice chocolate bars. I buy Belarus-made foods occasionally, various stuff, but once in a few months or so.

Cheers. My wife wasn't a huge fan of Coles and Woolies when we live back in Perth. She did like the IGA's though. Also, a larger farmers market we have in Bunbury.
Every time I watch one of Russell's videos, it is a trip down memory lane what America looked like in the 1990's Family-friendly Low crime rates Malls where the family went to spend an afternoon and dinner together I sure hope Russia doesn't go through what we in America have gone through a collapse of our civilization to what today is lawlessness in our cities and those citizens brutalized by the lawlessness seem to enjoy it. Best of luck holding on to what you have - we Americans now know what life looks like when you lose it...
I remember I was at Marshall's in the early 2000s. And I left my purse at the shoe corner. And forget about it for the next half an hour. And nothing has happened to my purse. I came in a rush and found the purse with everything inside.

Low life expectancy in Russia though. In the States it's a 1 - 11 chance of dying before the age of 55. Whereas in Russia it's 1 - 4 as cardiovascular diseases and cancer is higher, mainly because of alcohol.

I really enjoyed the information your wife gave. As someone who grew up in the USSR and Russia in the post USSR Era, she offers a lot of information. I grew up in the States, and I was intrigued by the USSR.

I think it's wonderful that your wife came with you for this tour. She can give a very local perspective from what she sees.... so, we get to see it from your eyes as a person from offshore and hers as being born there. I think that makes it very interesting.
Your wife is a good sport and hope she can visit in more videos. If my husband had the same line of work, I hope I would be so patient. Being on camera when you are not used to it is stressful. Also critiquing packaging in Russia/Belarus is a big big pot meet kettle moment given how it is to this day in Straya, less is more and that's how it is. Most russians are grass always greener sorts, when they expat all but the ultra rich ping pong back home for a damn good reason. I grew up in the UK midlands, trust me, I witnessed it when Russian immigrants all started going home.

I've eaten many odd meats in my life. Besides the normal meats, I've had deer, elk, moose, wild boar, squirrel, snake, alligator, frog, ostrich, buffalo, and bear. I'm sure there's more I am forgetting, but yeah, I'd give horse a try. I'd like to try escargot too.

Although your wife is still a little bit shy I think as time goes by she will feel a lot more comfortable working with the Master and who knows one day she might want to have her own UA-cam channel maybe about fashion , shoes , travelling , the sky is the limit and this may be her springboard .
