I will buy this equipment, the drone and the base, with your experience, is it enough or do I need to buy more equipment from DJI? Thanks for the great video!!
Great video! I'm a contractor and my projects are 3 to 10 acres in size and I'd like to map and fly over the projects weekley for progress reports. Could you show me how it's done? I'm on the waiting list for the new Mavic 3 enterprise that suppose to come out in the middle of November. Thank you!!
Russell, did you have to adjust your location in the rtk advance settings tab? Do you enter the height of the d rtk pole? Also I was having trouble with the dongle I had bought from ebay. I purchased the one you linked to from amazon worked like a charm. Thank you
I haven't had to process that accurately as of yet. But you can enter the pole height. I have read this : add "5.83 ft or 1.776984m to the benchmark z value "
i'm also curious about this. but I wonder how the base would get it's precise location other than by sattelites. i think linking to a custom RTK network provides the exact base x y and z location so that the rover would be precise as well
The base station has an expected degree of error of up to 2m unless you have it referencing a known point. Every time you move it, you create even more inaccuracy. You need a constant on site to mark GPC's.
Is it possible to use d-rtk2 as a gnss monitoring station alone without using the drone using the controller?

Can i use 2 separate D-RTK-2 units as a Base station & a Rover at a time?

which app are you using?
Im unsure why you need to connect to a network when you have a active base station? Can you not use the Station by itself?

@@libitronaerialdroneservice well said. or in this case a constant connection to a CORs
Hi there, is that still work with the new upload firmewire 02.02.0403? Mine refuse to connect to NTRIP...
Is this the work flow to mark GCPs?
Interested to know this too.
Does it work with m210 rtk v2 controller ? I mean as a handheld device
Not sure about that model. I haven't tested it.
Great job. Thank you

It seems like the errors of the measurements defeat the purpose of the precision of the drone. Errors looked to be ~2 inches.
Might want to actually level the rod when shooting or you're introducing a lot of error with tilt.
Can do this with a P4RTK but can't with a MATRICE 300 RTK... typical DJI.
