Hey I'm new in this channel and I had to give you a big thumb up for this video. I came here for a school work because I have to make a presentation of a electronic linked news and I remember of the Stadia in my head I have seen last year on UA-cam. I found some videos that says a lot of bad things on the Stadia and I searched for a "good points" of Stadia video and I have found this video. This was the best video on this theme I have seen so far and you did a really good job (I didn't see the first video). Then I saw that I was your 33th like only and I really think you deserve more view on UA-cam. I don't say I will subscribe because I am not sure I will watch all your video but I will look at it and certainly consider follow this channel. So big thumb up
Stadia works for me. I've got good connection. I bought the games I want to play with Pro discounts. The discounts pay for the Pro subs and still got extra left. Those games I bought were more expensive (at the time) on Xbox. So yes, Stadia Pro is working for me. People say Stadia graphics are not as great as consoles or PCs, I'm not too fussed. It looks good and plays well to me - and that's all it matters. Will I stick to it? Yes, especially I travel a lot for pleasure and work, so the games travel with me (ignore COVID for now). Of course you can bring your console with you on your trips, but I only bring the controller + controller claw + Chromecast then I'm done.
As someone who hasn't had a system since the 360 and am ONLY using Stadia - I do want games like COD but I currently have waaaaay more games than I can currently play right now. I hope to get them but I can be patient. I think what will happen is we will probably never get many of the past games but we'll get a bunch of the new games. If that happens (that we get new games moving forward) - then I'm okay with keeping Stadia.
In my opinion, you did a great job covering stadia. I didnt see your previous video but this was awesome and I even learnt a fair bit with your analysis of the top 100 steam games. Subscribing now!
I made stadia my exclusive platform and 6 months in (and after selling my PS4) I regretted it. Using my WiFi the games lagged but I think that’s because my internet connection [whilst way quicker than the minimum required according to stadia] wasn’t good enough I guess. For a year I ran a 15 metre long Ethernet cable to the router and got more annoyed. Ended up buying a PS5. Stadia has a lot of potential but I don’t feel that it is there yet. Will be interesting to see what happens with the Microsoft/Sony collaboration
Thanks for the feedback. I found having a better connection and better wifi solution helps, but that sucks that it didn't work for you. Hope you're enjoying your PS5!
@@TheSearchForAwesome Yes I agree! Very much enjoying the PS5 thanks! Your videos are very good you have a very methodical way of looking at the pros and cons, please keep doing the videos they are very enjoyable and interesting. Also as a side note you seem like a very nice person which also makes me listen to your opinion 👍🏻
Stadia for me is for third party games. I only have 11 games installed on my Pc before I couldnt download anymore(2 of them were Call of Duty lol). I dont use Stadia to play the latest greatest games but games that catch my attention. Later down the line I feel some awesome big games will come and I will be happy when they do and pick them up on Stadia.
I think I understand POV - You're more of a PC gamer. I could not imagine playing mouse and keyboard so the CCU * Controller is the only way I play. This may be why that deal wasn't good for you.
I use the Chromecast on my monitor and safe the power supply for my PC. Additionnaly no-dowloads is best for Updates, how many times I wanted to play and get 10+ GB of updates...
Little thing about Gfnow. Nvidia do not sell games so that nether have the obligation to keep them in the platform. I've lost more than 150€ in games I cannot use anymore because of this (I do not have the enough power hardware)
Very nice your coming along as for the games I agree it's coming the steam list is getting there. As you mentioned linux runs smoothly rather than windows IMO. I believe you can't stream to twitch cause Amazon owns twitch and since they have Luna that's a no no. This video is better than the last but give it time I believe Stadia will bring the 3 rd parties games and the features like state share not share safe lol but great video what's gets me is click and play no downloads no updates is why this platform intrigues some people. The future is bright despite the media hate.
@@TheSearchForAwesome apparently its coming out as a pre installed app on lg tv which is pretty cool how you will be able to game without anything plugged in
I get your point but your view on stadia's gaming catalog after being active for a little over a year is just nonsense it's a brand new platform only because they don't have games now doesn't mean they won't come if you were expecting stadia to come and have all the games that playstaion has your not being a realist it's a whole new thing devs need time to figure out how to port the more important thing is not how many games it's how many partners and we seen EA was on bored Ubisoft , capcom , square enix and more as long as they say there working with stadia than the new games will come but saying they don't have games right now is something that should be excepted . New games that come out this year and next once devs have time to work with lunix should be more expected but it's only commonsense that most new games last year wouldn't come .
I think will have to agree to disagree there. As I mentioned in the video GeForce now which is in the exact same boat as Stadia trying to create a streaming platform has over 800 games. I’m not saying it’s better than Stadia, but clearly it has a better catalog. As I mentioned the end of the video it’s unclear to me right now if stadia picking Linux was a good idea in the long run. It’s great that stadia can do groundbreaking new features, but if there are fewer games available and some of the games don’t run well because they were ported poorly then they may regret going with a platform that was less established then windows for Gaming. I hope they are successful though because I would love to see Linux as a more viable gaming platform and I hope stadia is my platform of choice in the future
@@TheSearchForAwesome But then again GeForce is not it's own service. there a complementary device same like a controller that is not compatible with every game if steam said one day there making there own cloud gaming service then GeForce is out GeForce is dependent on steam while stadia is only dependent on stadia
@@oscarv1234 But how would that matter for us? If Steam announces their own cloud platform, Geforce Now could be done for, but us users can just switch platforms?
I admitted in the video that’s probably asking for too much. I was just pointing out that something like that would be more exciting. But even a 50% discount I think would’ve been better than throwing in a $60 controller and a $50 Chromecast. It sounds like it might’ve made more financial sense as well because you’re giving away $30 worth of goods versus whatever it cost for them to make those two products.

Yeah, stadia is pretty great for picking up where you left off no matter what device you are on.

I’m glad they are doing that. Tbh I played several hours of madden this weekend lol.
