  • Before he was a Rolling Stone, a Face, or a member of the Jeff Beck Group, Ronnie Wood flew the nest aged just 17 with his first band, the Birds. Featuring cameos by Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Jimmy Page and many more, Ronnie’s adventures on the road to superstardom were handwritten in his private diary of 1965.
Now, celebrating 50 years in rock 'n' roll, Ronnie Wood guides us through the pages of his rediscovered journal in 'How Can It Be? A Rock & Roll Diary' - seen here for the first time in a live interview with BBC presenter Bob Harris.

Love this! Ronnie was a fantastic bass player. Actually he must've been top 5 at the time. He'd never played bass before but came out with these wild, heavy, funky lines that held up really well alongside Jeff's guitar and some tasty drummers, Rod's monster vocals and Nicky Hopkins' piano. Sensational. Incredibly underrated band, but that's how Jeff Beck fans like it.

Thanks for sharing! If you have a minute, we uploaded a cover of Eddie Van Halen. As fellow music fans, we'd love if you would take a listen. It's on our channel. Don't be too tough on us :)
