Yamaha RD/RZ Restore Part 25 - RZ250 Rear Sets and Stands

Installing the centre stands and side stand, how to orientate the springs. Also I strip down the rear sets brackets and foot pegs. Showing how to remove the pins for fully dismantling them before I plate the metal parts.

What foot pegs are they? They dont look like my 31k pegs.

Its an RZ250 1986 model as per here www.rd350lc.net/RZ350F-AUS-dos.jpg note its missing the rubber grips and hero blobs.

Yes back in the day as bikes transitioned to what they are now, I remember the bike mags saying how do you do basic maintenance like oiling the chain etc. Most people including me took them off.
