Thank you for the comment. I have showed only 100 ft Degelman Heavy Harrow in the video, but there is also 120 ft harrow available from the factory. The local Canadian surfaces are close to those which we have in Poland and Ukraine- flat.
very huge machine, is it possible to use it in spreeding of corn straw, what is the minimum power of track for such harrow, for sure good working quality depends on speed and moisture of straw, in Poland a specialy in north part we have also big farms with huge field surfaces but i have never seen so big one
Thank you for the comment. Sorry, but we did not have enough time to fix it by camera. Next spring 2017, I assume, we will have an opportunity to record such conditions.
I have never seen somebody harrowing in germany or somewhere else in Europe. Whats the purpose of that? And on the seeding videos it looks like you are not plowing at all... thats the case in Germany. Here every field gets plowed before seeding. Would be nice to get an answer from a farmer who is growing that mouch canola🙂
Tillage was the cause of the 1930's dust bowl, where dust storms blew across the entire midwest all the way to the east coast, wrecking crops, causing dust illnesses and a extreme loss of top soil. The purpose of harrowing is to break up and spread the trash left over from the previous crop. No tillage is required prior to seeding or during seeding.
Leave the cultivator, chisel plow or what ever you use in the bush....no till is future... harrow, seed spray . I haven't tilled land in 30 years with no rest. The crops get better every year .
Beautiful combination, great New Holland.
Thank you, my European colleague.

по русски кто-то говорит?
Sorry, Victor, only Ukrainian and English.
Don't see the point of using this piece of equipment...
It's the best seed bed prep tool invented other than a sprayer. Nobody plows land anymore unless you want to dry it out.
The footage is great but LOOSE the crap shite music - it just does not go with Agri videos
