This is a great song. It has as a progressive alternative twist to it,, that resembles some of the music sounds from the late 80's and early 90's and then incorporates it into a refreshing modern day style and sound!
without making presumptions about intentions in the songwriting process, all I have to say is that I love this song. as Tom Petty would say, "don't bore us; get to the chorus." mission accomplished. love this.
