Dude, it's so exciting! I was hoping though you'd buy two of the full sized Super Sprints and one Arcade1Up 2 wheel mod, giving you 8 wheels, so you could play the classic 8 Sprint with 8 people. Now that would be an expensive link purchase :)
Yeah, I decided a long time ago I was going to only have one racing cab. And the dream game was Hydro Thunder. And as you know, Buy Stuff Arcades took care of us. Maybe someday they'll figure out Roadblasters, Super Sprint, and Off Road for our existing setups. Until then, I don't mind not having every game imaginable in my Home Arcade. Heck, I don't think I'll ever play every game I already have, which is in the tens of thousands! But we can all live vicariously through all of our friends in the community. That's what makes this hobby so special.

Hey VGV, maybe they will have alternate wheels and we could swap out so we could use a SW flight yoke for Roadblasters like we can for Spy Hunter. I think we’re going to see a lot of really cool stuff from Buystuff. I think Mr West will get Culver’s today :)

That would be COOL! Could you imagine if they could figure out a true plug and play solution here? I actually pitched this to Glen back in the day when he started making controls for Arcade1Up's. A deck that you would only have to wire in once and you could disconnect one wheel or yolk (or other controller) with a simple button click and snap in another into its place. Kind of like putting a cartridge into a cartridge slot. Then the software would already be programmed to see the new controller and only bring up the games that are used for it and the games would already be per-configured, so you wouldn't have to setup anything up manually, simply plug in and play. This is my ultimate dream for the future. The unscrewing of screws and unplugging and replugging in of wires to change something out every time is the only hurtle for me.
Also, could you imagine something seamless done for monitors and aspect ratios? Having a monitor on a mechanical mount that would change its orientation by just pressing a button? It would look like a Transformer! The tech is already out there, someone just needs to implement it.
The future is looking bright for sure. We just have to hope and let our voice be heard and I think everything will fall into place :)

I agree with you I just don’t have the nostalgia, space or financial means to collect full size arcades but be honest if it was an X-Men 6-player you and I would jump on it haha (But be single subsequently afterward). Great review man you’re the first one to show the full-size off-road in comparison.
Good morning Mikey, I temper X-men being your favorite game all time just like me. That would be the cab I get too, I’m a big fan of Star Trek because I grew up watching the OG show, Movies and NG. Nice vlog PD7 once I seen the presentation of the new Sprint cab I was surprised they brung back a true classic arcade machine just as I remember back in the arcades and also I did get both cabs working now just had to order my own decals that wasn't in the gaming boxes

@@PDX7 it has to be Super Sprint, one of my favourite arcade games ever! Absolutely love the sound effects in the game! I’m hesitating between 2 or 1 wheel. I will even leave the marquee non lit (would be the only one in my arcade) because that’s how it was :-)

Hi LokiO and PhilO. I talked to AngelO last night and we are getting an ALU kit from Buystuff, if they have one for the gamer pro stand I am in on that, I want that kind of wheel. I have their steering wheel mount kit and a Logitech Wheel and its not what I want, I want BSA Wheel will be perfect for many of the racing games I love.

Also agree about a single wheel on A1up, don’t have the players to justify a $4k three wheel full sized, no matter how cool it is
Pole Position popped in my head when I saw the single wheel as cool as it would be to have an Off Road or Super Sprint themed cab the space isn’t there for me. This route could fit right in our 3/4 look.
We don’t “need” any of it, but we “want” it all!!!! The product line prices are all “starting at” prices, which scares me a little. We aren’t going to get an A1up single deck upgrade for $299, it’ll be more with whatever other addons we want like artwork for example. Think those starting at prices are a little deceiving, still very cool though!
I think so too, that might be just the deck / games for the starting out price.

How would you shoot in Roadblasters ? Shooting is pretty integral to the gameplay so without triggers on the wheel itself having to reach down and press a button on the control deck is not ideal. All that being said I'm considering what option I will take when I order one of these Super Sprint kits from BuyStuff and as much as I want the $3499 version I'm wondering how much of that cost is the PC Gaming computer they supply with it which seems like overkill to run the types of games that traditionally on these types of racing cabinets (Off Road, Pole Position etc.)
I was going to mention the button on the deck for Roadblasters, but maybe we will have other options after this limited run ends. There has to be a way for us to maybe swap steering wheels.
Road Blasters shoots from the deck button. Works very well. PC is important for running the scan lines and CRT effects that add so much to the look of it. Plus it enables the option for many higher-end MAME racers that we've got working well with the 360 wheel.
Is it me? Or does the Arcade1up variation, the steering wheel just seems to block too much of the screen? The AtGames variation seems fine, but the 360 wheel seems too high on Arcade1up variations.
I think the 2 steering wheel really blocks it, maybe we need a 19” to be safe. I guess with the flat deck the wheel sits a lot different than what we are used to. Nice call Eric
We'll be showing it tonight on Super Game Room Dudes - you need to be very short (ie. under 4 feet) for the wheels to block your view. Is is disproportional? Yes, but that's because A1ups are so small :-) Playing these games with a small wheel is not the same - needs to be the right size.
In regards to your gaming box on your star wars cab, have you noticed that the cursor for the star wars atari games are not aligned in the center? When you are at the start up screen and even when playing the games themselves have you noticed your crosshairs is shifted to the right? I did this mod on my star wars cab and while all the old atari star wars games play fine, I did notice the crosshair is not aligned. I did a y axis and x axis calibration per buystuffs guidelines, but it didn't fix it. It's only those games though. Everything else starts in the center. Thanks in advance.

You only need one steering wheel. 2 on a 3/4 cab is going to be too close for comfort.

Cool but that price tag. $4000? Yeah it sounds like a quality cab. I'm running out of space as is but 200 lbs? No way I'm getting that up any stairs. Sounds so big it couldnt make it around some corners anyway. Thing is with these "buy stuff" add ons. Are they legit? I get there are 60 in 1 multicades everywhere but are the games licensed? Yeah there are a few games that could use this thing. Super Sprint, Championship Sprint, Badlands, Pole Position 1 and 2, maybe TX-1 with a screen squished, etc.
I’m not sure about the licensed and year it’s huge lol too big for us to lug around. The one wheel appeals to me more so I can fit it in my room.
Yep, that's what kills it for me. If it's not licensed this bad luck rain cloud starts to follow me around in my life.

Definitely glad someone is doing a man size cab, but yikes, that's not in my families budget. Maybe a 1 wheel cab would be priced closer to a feasible purchase.
There's a one wheel version for an A1UP cab, a two wheel cab, a standalone pedestal and two other 3 wheel cabinets. They're doing the premium full size first and then the 5 or so smaller versions priced between $299 and I believe $899. Size and price for all
@@RichieCavsRetrocadeThose are starting prices btw. Who knows what comes with those prices and I don’t think the photos match the starting prices shown. I think the photos are the end product of what you can fully purchase
@@mikeyyoon Yep but that's because just like all products they sell, you can build/add-on cooler stuff as you go through the purchase process. So when you go to buy you can choose to add-on or take as-is and I think most of the as-is/starting at price will be just fine. We talked to the guys building them the other day on CornerCade and was all very promising. All the other products they sell already and have sold before this have been top notch
I’m thinking the one wheel, it’s more affordable we can skin it to any cab we want and have it next to our 3/4 cabs it would fit right in.
