Tchoukball is frequent in PE in France, although often played with inadapted equipment (gymnastics rebounder, handball...). It is an interesting alternative to handball, which can be dangerous in PE (contact sport, nobody wants to be goalkeeper).
This looks like one of those weird sports that we only ever play two or three times in P.E. when the gym teacher is trying to pad out their lesson plans.
Tchoukball /ˈtʃuːkbɔːl/ is an indoor team sport developed in the 1970s by Swiss biologist Hermann Brandt. Brandt was concerned about the number of injuries in sport at the time and as part of an educational study he wanted to create a sport that reduced injuries, was not aggressive between players and enabled people of all shapes, sizes, genders, cultures, and backgrounds to play together.
I'm convinced that Singapore is world champion on the basis that only 3 other countries play this game. If other western countries joined and took this silly game seriously, they would crush it. I have not played this game, but you have to be pretty talentless to choose a sport like this. It involves half the time squatting down to stop or catch a ball. Sorry, gotta say it as it is
@@g3m_y891 fr, but I wouldn't say they are offending Singapore. But this ain't a silly game. If you have not tried it, then why comment this? This type of games involves strategy and skills. It's not only squatting down half of the time. It pretty much sounds like you don't know the game well.
@@SeelkadoomTHS you wouldn’t like it when people call you autistic right? Same thing here, people wouldn’t like it when you criticise their naturals. Just saying~ -Mev
