Beaver encounter- swam to within three feet of me.

I was standing in the middle of a stream while I waited for my timelapse rig to finish creating a timelapse. My friend shouted to me, and when I looked up, I saw a beaver swimming up the stream in my direction. After it made a pit stop on a small island, the beaver swam to within three feet of my legs. Wonderful encounter.
